Someone was asking the other day about Rite Aid's coupon policy regarding BOGO %. Rite Aid posted this today on their Facebook page:

"We want to assure all of our customers that there have been no recent changes to the Rite Aid coupon policy. We accept Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. Customers can use up to two coupons with a “Buy One, Get One at a % Off” promotion, provided the total value of the coupons does not exceed the selling price of the two items combined.

That has never been the case, tellyourfriends. I read through the fine print for today's deal and there is no mention of only one daily deal per customer per week. It actually indicates that you can use today's code for 60% off posters 5 times per account!

I strongly suggest you call corporate for "clarification" and to express how badly the manager made you feel while getting your lecture. I would also request to have the district manager call you abotu the incident. Sounds like terrible customer service to me and should definitely be passed on to corporate. I'd like to know what the response is if you get a chance to post or e-mail me.

Hey Faye! I got a lecture at the Walgreens in FV last night:o) I had participated in the photo freebies for the week and couldn't get them until last night. They had a collage, 25 free prints and a free card offered. The gentleman told me that you can only get one of the deals per week and that they were going to start tracking accounts and charging for those who do more than one. I haven't read anything on that and wanted to see if I had missed something. I don't want to be doing something that would cause others to never get a chance for something free. To be honest the "lecture" I got last night was longer than it needed to be with more information than I wanted and when I got it my car I left the store feeling like I had done soemthing wrong. Usually excited about freebies, but not this time :o(
