It's a holiday weekend so you know what that means..... sadly, there will be no new coupon inserts in the Sunday paper.

On the bright side, this is a great time to spend the holiday weekend enjoying your family (and catching up on your coupon cutting and filing!).

jz - I have soooo many ideas for their quilts! I want them to be bright and full of fun characters for them :) These quilts will last their lifetime, even if dragged around like Linus ;)

I know they're appreciated, but if it adds comfort or brings a smile, that's worth it to me - I do get much more out of giving than receiving anyway!

Nancy, my little man was a very sick baby in and out of a children's hospital for the first year of his life. Making a quilt for children stuck in a hospital setting is so treasured. It's like a prison in there no matter how nice the lobby and the garden appear...THANK YOU for doing this for them.

(((waving at 40!))) Doing great actually! Thanks :) Busier than a tick in deer season while I am making quilts! Not enough hours in the day to do what I want anymore, how can that be????? LOL

Project Linus is also on the agenda in the weeks ahead, I have so many great fabrics for kids quilts and these quilts go to children in hospitals - they'll go quickly since they are 'smaller' than other quilts ;)
