Went to CVS this am after church. Picked up paper and cut out coupon for Allegra. $6.99 for 5 tabs. Coupon in paper for$ 7.00. So free. ( read about this in preview blog from Faye for this week). While standing in the aisle, a friend from my daughters school was looking in the aisle for some allergy med for her daughter. Told her about the coupon in the paper. She said, " i don't usually buy the paper" . I suggested she get the paper, find the coupon page which i told where it was, and cut the coupon and buy the Allegra for free. If it doesnt work for her daughter, she only has 5 tabs in the bottle and she is getting it for free. She was very excited about this. Maybe she will start getting the paper and coupons! :) thanksfaye. Just payin it forward.

As for the N&O final edition...today is April Fool's Day. Since the newspaper industry is a dying business, I find it "not so funny".

I was charged $2.00 for mine in Goldsboro.

I'm in Clayton and also have my N & O delivered. It also says "final edition" and shows a cost of $.75. I wonder what's going on?

I get the Sunday N&O delivered to me in Durham and my paper also says 75 cents on it with "final edition." So maybe it is only 75 cents today.

Nancy -- when you ordered the bags from that place online, how long did it take to get them??

Correction: They are called Eat. Think. Smile Crispy Thins

After thinking about them, I had to go get the bag for a quick snack :)

We are doing some Spring yard work and went to Lowe's yesterday for wood chip mulch stuff. The nicest lady told us that the mulch we were getting was on sale at Home Depot for $1.40, saving us over $1.00 per bag on the 18 bags we purchased. She even let us borrow her receipt from Home Depot when the cashier asked us to prove the price. It totally made my day - that lady has some awesome money saving karma coming her way! Happy Spring, everyone!

Also, for those who got the Eat Smile Laugh (or something like that) BOGO ZVR at HT awhile ago, the little crispy chip things are on sale at HT BOGO, making 2 bags free. I found them on the bottom shelf under chex mix on the snack aisle. They're pretty tasty - I got the raspberry and my husband chose cinnamon. Good stuff.
