Giveaway: Southern Women's Show tickets!

How would you like to attend the Southern Women's Show with a friend this year...for FREE?! Up for grabs are three sets of 2 tickets!

To enter to win one of the three sets of tickets: Leave a comment below telling us what you enjoy most about the Southern Women's Show. If you have never been, let us know what you hope to see at the show.

I will randomly pick the 3 winners on Tuesday, April 3 at 11 AM. I'll post the winning usernames soon after 11. Good luck! (If you have already won a set of the tickets from the giveaway I did in March, you are not eligible to win this giveaway).

I'll be teaching a coupon class at the show once on Friday and once on Saturday. On Sunday, I'll be on the cooking stage with cookbook author, Lisa Shively, whipping up a frugal dish and chatting about meal planning in our game show/cooking class called "Let's Bake a Deal!". With a title like that, you know there are some fun prizes involved! I will also have a booth at the show all weekend. Look for the WRAL booth and you'll find the Smart Shopper/Go Ask Mom booth right next to it.

This year's big display is Royal Dresses of Diana, The People's Princess.

As always, the show has fashion shows, shopping, lots of food, free samples, coupons, cooking shows, celebrity guests and so much more!

Dates: Friday, April 27 - Sunday, April 29, 2012

Location: NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, NC

Hours :

Friday: 10am-8pm

Saturday: 10am-7pm

Sunday: 11am-5pm

Admission (unless you win the tickets!):

Adults: $10.00 at the Door

Youth: (6-12) $5.00

Children Under 6 FREE with Paying Adult

Advance Discount Tickets: Discount Tickets Available at Lowes Food

My daughter & I look forward to the show every year. We love all of the demonstrations and free samples. We actually start our Christmas shopping at the show. We have found several nice gifts.

I would enjoy all the new fashions, makeup trends, and most of all spending time with my best friend. We have never been and this would be a great tradition for us to start. I have always heard how powerful and motivated my girl friends have felt after attending!

This is an annual tradition for me and my best friend to get away and have some fun girlfriend time. We sample all the food, makeup, perfume and give aways!!! I look forward to it for months every year. And now that my daughter is old enough to enjoy it, I plan to make it an annual mother/daughter event as well!! Shelly, Clayton, NC

My friend and I attend all types of Craft shows. I love Princess Diana and have her in my doll collection. I've just begun to clip coupons and would like to see you. I just think it would be fun!

I have never been to the Southern Women's Show. After reading this article I very much want to attend this year. I would love to see the Royal Dresses of Diana. They were on display in Atlanta, where my sister lives, and I had hoped to make it there to see them but never did. I also enjoy trying new recipes, so I look forward to seeing the cooking shows.

I have never been to the Southern Woman's Show. I have heard woman talk about going to it. When I read this article and saw that you are going to be there on Saturday to talk about couponing, I became excited and want to go now. I hope I can.

I have never been before and my mother has survived a double lung transplant. I know she has gone in the past with her sisters but I would love to have the chance to spend this time with her. I've been to your coupon class so I look forward to the cooking part at the show!

I have never been able to go to the Southern Women's Show since I have moved here. I've had many friends go and enjoy the exhibits. I would love to be able to go and see some of the areas wines and boutiques that I never get the chance to go out and enjoy.

I have never been to the show but have friends that go every year & love it. I would love to go to the show. If I am the lucky winner of tickets, I would love to meet Walter. I would also hope that I would be able to take in all the exhibits & events so I could come back home & look as good & as sharp as Walter does!
