Giveaway: Southern Women's Show tickets!

How would you like to attend the Southern Women's Show with a friend this year...for FREE?! Up for grabs are three sets of 2 tickets!

To enter to win one of the three sets of tickets: Leave a comment below telling us what you enjoy most about the Southern Women's Show. If you have never been, let us know what you hope to see at the show.

I will randomly pick the 3 winners on Tuesday, April 3 at 11 AM. I'll post the winning usernames soon after 11. Good luck! (If you have already won a set of the tickets from the giveaway I did in March, you are not eligible to win this giveaway).

I'll be teaching a coupon class at the show once on Friday and once on Saturday. On Sunday, I'll be on the cooking stage with cookbook author, Lisa Shively, whipping up a frugal dish and chatting about meal planning in our game show/cooking class called "Let's Bake a Deal!". With a title like that, you know there are some fun prizes involved! I will also have a booth at the show all weekend. Look for the WRAL booth and you'll find the Smart Shopper/Go Ask Mom booth right next to it.

This year's big display is Royal Dresses of Diana, The People's Princess.

As always, the show has fashion shows, shopping, lots of food, free samples, coupons, cooking shows, celebrity guests and so much more!

Dates: Friday, April 27 - Sunday, April 29, 2012

Location: NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, NC

Hours :

Friday: 10am-8pm

Saturday: 10am-7pm

Sunday: 11am-5pm

Admission (unless you win the tickets!):

Adults: $10.00 at the Door

Youth: (6-12) $5.00

Children Under 6 FREE with Paying Adult

Advance Discount Tickets: Discount Tickets Available at Lowes Food

I moved to NC 5 years ago and have never been to the Southern Women's Show! I've heard that it is a GREAT time and I would love to go and join in the fun!!!

Enjoyed spending the day with my three daughters, ages 16, 14 and 8 last year. My daughters enjoyed sampling the food, getting makeovers and trying new perfumes. Im looking forward to getting an opportunity to see Princess Diana's fashions. I can still remember waking up early to see her marry Prince Charles. Still saddens me that the world has lost such a beautiful person inside and out. Her style and taste was timeless!

I've never been, but I think it would be an fun outing with my mom and my daughters (8 and 4months). I'd love to get ideas on frugal living...because every little bit helps.

Well, I love seeing all the different things the Vendors have and trying all the samples I can. My favorite event is the doggie fashion show. And who doesn't love pink carpet.

I went last year for the first time. I really enjoyed your lets bake a deal booth and your couponing class. I look forward to seeing you there again. I also liked going around the whole show. I was able to purchase your coupon packet last year. I enjoy the exhibits and the givaways too.

I attended last year for the first time....it was great. One day I took my daughter and another day I took my son. We all had a good time shopping and tasting our way through the show.

I attended the Southern Women's Show YEARS ago before my daughter arrived on the 'scene'. Now, as a mom of a child with special needs, AND 14 years later (!), it's time to absorb myself in a day just for me - enjoying foods, making new acquaintances, hopefully discovering some practice that will revitalize me, and being in the company of lots of women sharing laughter, smiles and good times.

i haven't been to the SWS in over 10 yrs! we moved from nc and when we moved back, to be honest i haven't had the extra $ to buy a ticket, but i had a wonderful time there years ago, and i would love to go again!!!

I love looking at all the jewelry and cooking exhibits. Just a fun time with such a variety of vendors. I went for the first time 2 years ago and now I won't miss it.

My mom used to take me to the Southern Women's show when I was a young lady (old enough to enjoy it, but not old enough to really shop it to the fullest). I love the exposure to products, people, ideas that I would never be exposed to otherwise. "Wow they make that?!" would be a common utterance there for me. I just love samples, seeing new things, finding new products and just exploring it all!!! I would love to go again as an actually Southern WOMAN.

When I was in Kindergarten (in the 80's), I was a model for a clothing company at the Southern Women's show! I thought I was SO cool getting out of school early to go practice my modeling, lol! I'd love a chance to take my daughter now! :)

This is my first time going this year. I am going with 2 other woman that are coming from South Carolina to go with me the "virgin"!! It would be such a nice treat to give them (my 2 friends) the free tickets!!

I usually take my granddaughters (ages 7 & 3) and I love spending time with them. They love having their faces painted and all the free samples. I know I have a smile on my face the entire time just watching them.
