Here's the place to share your great register totals, funny stories, coupon disasters and all things Triple Coupons at Harris Teeter this week!  Let's hear it - how did you do?

For the list of triples deals, click the link in the box above.

I went to the Harris Teeter at Hwy. 401 and Ten Ten Road in the Garner/Fuquay area this morning around 8:30 am. The store had a number of couponers but it wasn't packed. They were out of many freebies, but I had some rain checks and they still had a number of good deals left.

You can see the picture of the items I purchased and the receipt in the box above. You can also see a picture of the register and two wonderful Harris Teeter employees, Ursula and Amber! These ladies were just lovely this morning!

Total before sales and coupons: $55.37

Total paid: 40 cents!

I used a combination of manufacturer's coupons, ZVR, rain checks and competitor's coupon (CVS ECB) to get it down to 40 cents. I love that this purchase included 2 dozen eggs, 2 boxes of Fiber One cereal, 2 packages of tofu, and 2 yogurt containers.

I also found a fabulous unadvertised deal that my kids will love! Whole Fruit frozen fruit bars, Passion Fruit variety is on clearance for $1.79. I had .50/1 coupons that were printed on the inside of product packages I bought many months ago (that don't expires until July). Total after coupons for a product that is usually $4.19 was .29 each!

Thanks again to all of you for sharing your triple coupon experiences! I am so excited about your savings and so grateful that you are all posting your great finds so we can all help each other save, save, save!

If you feel so inclined, I am sure Harris Teeter would appreciate a thank you for offering such a generous promotion. You can call them at 1-800- 243-6111 or send them an e-mail on their customer comment form at

Thank you to gmjaime for talking about the $20.00 reward when you get a prescription filled. Had a prescription filled and when I was checking out I mentioned the $20.00 reward to the technician and she asked if this was the first time I had filled a prescription there and I said yes so then she loaded it to my card. If I hadn't read about it on this blog I would have never thought to do that. With the $20.00 reward I had OOP of $2.77 for $82.19 worth of groceries; 97% savings! It's the best I've ever done.

I drive all over creation for my job, so have probably 10 different HT's that I hit regularly during these sales. I can't say I have talked to all of them, but at least 3 or 4 have told me that the trucks come every other day throughout the year, so the days they restock shifts week to week. MWFSunday one week, then TuThSaturday the next. I'm pretty sure that is how it works at all of them! Plus, it depends on whether the item they are out of is even on the truck in time.

Tryon HT was out of a few things, but managed to still use 20 triple Q's, in addition to a RC, and some other high $ Q's, plus my $10 off $50 Recyclebank Q. $182.14 down to $59.75. And then, realized 2 items didn't ring at sale price, went to CS and ended up getting another $7.42 back- for a grand total of $52.48, a 71+% savings.

Stopped by my favorite HT at North Hills and got everything I needed. I got 5 meatballs and there were plenty left if you are looking for some. Actually had more coupons but reached my 20 limit. Live to shop another day:)

gmjaime - I hope you feel better soon! At least you had your priorities straight and got those awesome deals before heading home to take the pain meds! :-)

Went by Pittsboro...they had meatballs but napkins and Quaker bars and franks hot sauce all out at warehouse. They're getting trucks every other night!

Made quick run through while waiting for prescriptions to be filled after having a tooth pulled today. Took $20 off my prescriptions from having a prescription filled on Saturday and earned $60 more for 3 prescriptions today. Saved total of 49.00 on groceries with triples, rain checks, and $20 from prescription... OOP $1.11. Would have done more shopping but pain was setting in and needed to get that pain pill out of the bottle and in me:-) Had my husband along to do the driving. Plan to go back Saturday morning after they have usually restocked items that are selling out.
