Updated: Harris Teeter ad & triples deals list 3/21 - 3/27!

Posted March 20, 2012
Updated March 21, 2012

Here are the deals from the Harris Teeter ad starting 3/21 and the list of triples deals! There are some great buys this week! Please post any others you find! Let's all help each other make this a fabulous event! These deals are valid 3/21 – 3/27.

Prices for the following deals were checked using the Express Lane for the Fuquay –Varina store on Ten Ten rd and Hwy 401.

Unless indicated, the insert coupons referenced in the deals below were in the News & Observer newspaper in recent months.

The coupon policy during triple coupons is at the bottom of the deals list.

Some coupons indicate Do Not Double (DND) or Do Not Triple (DNT) on them. Most of these coupons will triple automatically if scanned and most Harris Teeter stores do allow them to triple. But, some Harris Teeter stores will manually enter them and not allow them to triple. The deals below assume your store will allow them to triple, but there are no promises that your store will let them triple. My local stores do let DND and DNT coupons double and triple, but again, not all Harris Teeter stores allow this.

My thanks to hotcouponworld.com HERE and couponwithcents.com HERE for their help with this list!

Coupon policy during Triple Coupons:

* HT begins tripling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale (March 21). 24 hour stores do not triple coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has always worked in the past).

* HT will triple coupons worth up to .99 face value. A .75 coupon will triple to $2.25. A $1.00 coupon will not triple at all and will only be taken at face value ($1.00).

* HT will triple up to 20 coupons per household, per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. You can use more than 20 per day, but only 20 will triple per day no matter how many stores you go to.

* HT policy is to triple up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five .75 coupons for a product, the policy is to only triple the first three.

* HT policy is to triple up to 2 printable coupons for the same item per store, per day

mrschizzy, I live in an apt. complex in which all the mailboxes are in one location, and the Rockefellers I live with toss their mid-week inserts in the recycle paper bin next to the mailbox. I am not too proud to pull the coupons out of that bin.

A lot of the evic digital coupons seem to be regional, or area based.
In Aberdeen, no Mardi Gras dig. cpn for 55 c, also the price of said napkins is 42.99 in store and has not been on sale recently. We keep trying to get good deals though, and do a lot of the time.

Went this morning on the way to work. Got 3 Velveeta skillet dinners, 2 mentos gum, 2 jars Dole fruit, 3 Philly Indulgence, 6 Dannon Greek yogurt, 4 boxes Wonka candy and 2 cake mixes. Had a raincheck for the Philly Indulgence and a $20 coupon on my card for a prescription transfer for a $20 purchase in addition to the paper coupons. They paid me 13.92 in cash. Love Harris Teeter!!!

Thanks, Nancy! I am excited for my first triple coupon event :)

  • Nancy Mar 21, 2012

bostongirl, you can triple up to 3 "like" coupons per transaction, and yes, you can repeat that the next day etc.

Now, on internet printables, you can only use 2 "like" coupons per transaction, all insert coupons or direct from manufacturer is 3 "like" :)

  • bostongirl33 Mar 21, 2012

The coupon policy for triple coupons states that you can double up to 3 identical coupons...is that in 1 day? If I were to go back another day with more coupons for the same item, could I still get them tripled?

karihokie - if your rain check specifies 3 sets at BOGO, all 6 packages will ring up at $1.99 each. You can use a total of 3 of the $1/2 coupons if you buy 6. You do not have to buy all 3 sets. If you only have 1 coupons, you can buy 2 packages for $1.99 each and then use the $1/2 coupon bringing the total to $1.49 each - a very good buy for 16 oz bacon.

Supermario - welcome to couponing! On the front page of the blog there is an article in the Smart Shopper Resources section with abbreviations and terms. I recommend you read it so you can understand the code we use when posting deals. Here is the direct link to the article:
