Harris Teeter triples good deals list 3/21 - 3/27!

Posted March 19, 2012
Updated March 20, 2012

There are some great deals with this Harris Teeter promotion so get those scissors clipping! This is the first pass at the triples deals starting 3/21. I'm already working on the ad match-ups and will be going to the store tonight to see what other unadvertised deals I can find. Please post any others you find! Let's all help each other make this a fabulous event!  These deals are valid 3/21 – 3/27.

Prices for the following deals were checked using the Express Lane for the Fuquay –Varina store on Ten Ten rd and Hwy 401.

Unless indicated, the insert coupons referenced in the deals below were in the News & Observer newspaper in recent months.

The coupon policy during triple coupons is at the bottom of the deals list.

Some coupons indicate Do Not Double (DND) or Do Not Triple (DNT) on them. Most of these coupons will triple automatically if scanned and most Harris Teeter stores do allow them to triple. But, some Harris Teeter stores will manually enter them and not allow them to triple. The deals below assume your store will allow them to triple, but there are no promises that your store will let them triple. My local stores do let DND and DNT coupons double and triple, but again, not all Harris Teeter stores allow this.

My thanks to HERE and HERE for their help with this list!

Coupon policy during Triple Coupons:

* HT begins tripling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale (March 21). 24 hour stores do not triple coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has always worked in the past).

* HT will triple coupons worth up to .99 face value. A .75 coupon will triple to $2.25. A $1.00 coupon will not triple at all and will only be taken at face value ($1.00).

* HT will triple up to 20 coupons per household, per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. You can use more than 20 per day, but only 20 will triple per day no matter how many stores you go to.

* HT policy is to triple up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five .75 coupons for a product, the policy is to only triple the first three.

* HT policy is to triple up to 2 printable coupons for the same item per store, per day

Faye, what awesome news. We are in the Flowers Plantation area. There have been so many rumors about what grocery store, or stores was going here. The land has been sitting for so long. Thanks for that great news!

jkbfrench - reported that HT bought land in the Flowers Plantation area off Hwy 42 heading east. Hopefully that works well for you. I am in Clayton about once a week, so I'll be there on a regular basis once the store opens.

40andtired- THANK YOU! I will stop by that location and pick some up!

On a disappointing note I emailed the customer service on the Harris Teeter website asking them for help finding a location that carried the rosino meatballs in a polite manner. The response I recieved was a not friendly one- only saying "we have plenty"..although I had been to the assumed location twice and was unable to find them even when asking customer service. Not the type of customer service I would have expected from this store....

I find that most coupons that say do not double usually will still double if the first number is a 5...unless you have a super strict cashier!!

Is the HT at North Hills in Raleigh pretty crazy during triples??? I'm from Wilson but have a meeting in Raleigh at 4pm so I was thinking of hitting it up on the way back....I actually was at the HT at North Hills a few Saturdays ago and I was SHOCKED to see how dead it was around 3pm...cashiers just standing around looking for someone to ring if that was Wilson HT on a Saturday around 3pm it would be a complete mad house!!!

The Land O Lakes 1/2 & 1/2 coupon says Do Not Double....I hope it will anyway. Sneaky sneaky adding it in the fine print!

Ivory bar soap regular price is $1.55; P&G coupon for $.35 (sorry don't remember which paper) and there is ZVR for $.25 making what looks from picture in Express Lane to be a 3 pack of ivory soap 15 cents.

Faye, where is the Harris Teeter opening in Clayton? Thats the best news I've seen all day!!

  • CarolineCJ Mar 20, 2012

Thanks for the tips Faye! I'm going to shoot for before work, but I have been known to not get up earlier than necessary, so fingers crossed I can crawl out of bed :)

couponmom - it means the item is on sale now and should continue through triples based on the dates on the tag on the shelf. I did a quick walk through of the store last night and verified some of the continuing sales and will update the post above in a bit.

Caroline - triples is usually much busier than super doubles. The earlier you get there, the better chance of stock being available. At some stores, shoppers are there at 6 am to get the items they want and then stand in line until 7 am when the register starts tripling coupons. The Fuquay store at 401 and 10/10 rd is always crazy during triples. Once the new store in Clayton opens sometime in 2013 (at least that's what we are hearing), it should lessen the chaos at that location.

If you wait until 4:30 after work, they will be out of many if not most of the freebies. The stores will restock during the promo though so if you can;t get there the first day at the crack of dawn, don't despair. They will replenish the stock.
