Posted March 15, 2012

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received.

Remember, the deals we receive on Friday's are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mail from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your rewards cards. If you don't get the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites:

Got the 'Fruit by the Foot'...and had my ZVR...yippee!

    Cat Food - Friskies 3.15lb bags are BOGO for ~2.49 ea - .50 q = 1.49/bag.

Between the Classico B2G3 (we're almost out of sauce, which in our household is almost as bad as being out of coffee LOL) & the HT Shredded cheese B2G3, and the Rosina Meatballs...can anyone say 'Italian Yummies' are on the menu for this weekend!!! And I have the Ricotta cheese from sale a couple of weeks back to throw in the mix :)

The dog and cat food are both Saturday specials. EVERYONE gets those whether they have pets or not. The Saturday specials are not specific to the customer. They are general specials for everyone.

Nancy, SO sorry to hear about your son. Our prayers for a speedy recovery are with him. Sounds like a scary time for you all.

Would have loved the hummus, spice grinders and broth. Those deals would have driven me to the store.

thekeslings - I sometimes think my cat is the "wrong kind" as well! ;-)

Excited about my Sabra hummus, McCormick spice grinders (97 cents!) and Pacific organic broth. My cats eat prescription food (of course they do), but I'll get the canned food for the Wake SPCA. They especially need canned food for their convalescing animals.

quemaster - I always buy dog food for the shelter, never think as much about cats since it is so much cheaper to feed them than it is to feed dogs. Do wish I could somehow transfer the cat opportunities to someone with a cat. Wish I had money to feed all the dogs and cats that need food.

lorawatson: General Mills Fruit snack has a coupon on your Zavers electronic coupon for (.50 off) too

  • lorawatson Mar 16, 2012

The deal I went for today was the General Mills Fruit snack (fruit roll ups, gushers, etc) for $.97 limit 3. I had a coupon for $.75 off a purchase of 3. so the total for today was $1.51 for 3 boxes!. My 21 yr old daughter was so happy!

heremeaj - I agree, lately there have been some 'strange' things on my eVic specials - I too got the cat food and never buy anything related to cats - and some of the other items are not purchased at all either - they used to be much better on matching deals to past history.

    Wonder why that changed?

Fancy Feast is on the wish list for the no kill rescue shelter Safe Haven for Cats. It states any flavor is good just not chunky, roasted, or sliced. Here is a link to their website if you are not familiar with them: http://www.safehavenforcats.org/
