Bjs has a huge bottle of allergy medicine for $14 -- 300 pills I think ;) It is off brand, but my allergy doctor actually recommended it instead of claritin.

    Bklyn2Raleigh -
    Got the Centrum...thanks for the heads-up :)

Teeter Spring Forest had Meow Mix products in the clearance cart...had a 1.00 q for the Tender Centers variety = 99 cents! Also there were some mascaras & nail clippers on sale, as well as firelog type products.

Went to Kroger and made out like a bandit. With their current Mega Event and a $25 prescription transfer I spent about $4 for $75 in groceries. Kelloggs is running a new promotion where coupons are in special boxes of poptarts and cereals. I had 2 coupons for $1 off fresh fruit when you buy 3 boxes of Kelloggs cereal. Of course I had coupons for each box of cereal and when the cashier tried to scan the fruit coupon, it beeped. She tried to tell me I was using too many Kelloggs coupons and it wouldn't take them. I explained that this was specifically for fresh fruit and the others were specifically for the cereals. She still disagreed. My final comment was "You can get a mgr to override it." She walked off with a huff but upon return she entered both coupons. ... Be nice but don't always take no for an answer...

Bklyn, if Zyrtec is an allergy med that would work for you, Walgreen's has a generic version called Wal-Zyr that is much less expensive. My two pups actually have to take it twice daily, so we buy the 300-ct bottle for which there is usually a coupon in Walgreen's coupon book or on their website. I believe they also have a generic for Claritin.

Bklyn - is Zyrtec one you want to buy? Great deal at CVS this week, 5 pack is $5.99, but you get $5.99 ECB back (limit one), there was a $2 printable for it as well.

Anyone have any thoughts on where I can get the best deal on allergy meds?? I know I have a couple of coupons for the 3 major name brands, but not sure where to go. Any info would be great.

OMG!! Faye, Blue Bell Ice Cream is my FAVORITE!!! On a business trip in the mountains a few year ago, I actually followed a delivery truck for a couple miles just so I could find out where I could buy some. Every time I go back to Texas, I buy a pint of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and a Dr. Pepper Slurpee on my way to my brother and sister in law's house. (Can you tell I'm just a little bit excited about this?)

Saavy, yes you can use your Aunt's Kroger rewards. BUT you can also use that at HT - it's considered a competitors coupon :)

Many of those coupons included with her reward coupon are actually manufacturer coupons as well - some are strictly Kroger but you can tell by the bar code, if they begin with the normal "5", you can use those anywhere that accepts Mfr coupons.

Faye~ Blue Bell ice cream is the best that I've ever had! So excited to know that it's finally here! It's pricey but oh so good! Used to buy it all the time when we lived in Texas!
