Paintbananas.. the funny thing is they didn't even attempt to scan them. Simply looked at them and said, "oh, we don't accept these!!"

delarosa, it's rare to get totally free TP or PP's - but with a good sale and coupons, you can greatly reduce the price.

And yes, sometimes a deal at CVS or Walgreens or RiteAid will give you extra discounts because you can use your drug store rewards coupons to help bring down the price on top of manufacturer coupons.

Whenever there is a good sale, try to stock up and give yourself enough product at hand to wait until another good sale comes along - that way you're never forced to spend too much on those items.

@eje1015 - You should be able to get a good quality meter for free. Most of the diabetic supply companies will send you a free meter because they get their money by selling the lancets and test strips. The test strips are quite pricey.

delarosa - Lowes and Food Lion carry Marcel paper products ;)

arlenecook - try checking out your ink needs at LD Products Inc online, they ship FAST and so far no one has beat their prices for our laser printers and from what others say on here, their ink cartridges are a good deal too!

Finesse - my FL insists that they accept internet printable coupons but only if they scan...and mine never scan, no matter where I get them from (it's usually links from this blog).

Finesse - I was told that a couple of years ago at one of the FLs on Capital Blvd. I can't remember if I've ever tried an IP at FL since then.

Has anyone ever visited a Food Lion and were told they don't accept internet printable coupons? Well....this happened to me at the Food Lion in St. Pauls,NC. I told the cashier that they must be the only Food Lion that doesn't accept printable coupons. I will be contacting corporate on this matter.

delarosaconsulting: I live in Goldsboro and get the local News-Argus. The Viva coupon in it was 85 cents off, but the Viva coupon in my N&O was for 40 cents off. I've noticed different coupons before but never different values.
