Groupon deal for Big Time Rush concert!

Posted March 10, 2012

Groupon has a great deal for the Big Time Rush concert coming in August: 40% off tickets and you can get up to 8 tickets!  Click HERE for all the details of each of the deals.

For $15 you get 1 ticket to the concert on August 22, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion. The tickets are usually $25 including fees.

Guess what I got my daughter for her birthday in August?! She doesn't know yet so, shhhhh. She just asked if we could go this concert earlier in the week for her birthday. What perfect timing. This will be her first pop concert and I cannot wait to surprise her (and a couple of her friends)!

If you are new to Groupon, it's an easy way to get 1/2 price deals on activities all around town including dining, bowling, facials, massages, movies, haircuts, oil changes, special events and more. You buy the deal, print the coupon and then present it at the business to redeem.

Groupon also offers deals on items you can buy online through Groupon Goods. To see the Groupon Goods deals, click on "Goods" at the top of the page HERE. These are usually 1/2 price deals on products that are mailed to you after purchase. You pay for the purchase, give your name and mailing address at checkout and the item is mailed to you. I have purchased a number of items through Groupon Goods and have found them to be good quality.

Nancy great idea. We have some that we use when we go to the shooting range....

You brave Moms and Dads, time to start looking for deals on soft ear plugs you can wear :) The kind that mold to your ear would help :)

Back in the late 90's when I drove a school bus I was able to keep up with all the latest lingo used and everything for all the school ages - I feel lost now!

Well I told my husband about the August Concert and he told me if I wanted to take our daughter that was fine he wasn't going. I think it will not be as bad as the DPAC since it will be outside and hopefully all the girl screams will carry away. I still haven't decided if we will go or not yet. But with this deal hard not to get them.

That is so funny, TopCopWife! I can't even stand to go in the Hollister store in the mall because the music is so loud. I'll be in trouble with all the screaming girls at the concert.

Watchhillgirl - what a hysterical surprise that would have been for your husband if you had shown up for this concert expecting Rush!! lol

Faye, when that show started my husband and I thought it would never make it. Now look it has made it and they are touring. My husband took my son on Tuesday as he loves their songs. We were only able to get two tickets so my daughter didn't get to go. (Had a girls night for her). Well when my husband got home it was so funny..... he was like you know when you go to a concert and you can't hear for awhile because of the music so loud. He said he can not hear because of all the girls screaming....LOL.... I told him he was old......

Nancy, don't feel bad...I right there with you....
I thought it was the Band Rush! I thought it would be great for my husband...lol...well, I guess not, he would have certainly been surprised!

Sounds like a great time, Amomoftwo! That's an awesome prize pack to win! I like that the band's music is more appropriate than a lot of the other music that tweens and teens listen to these days.

Nancy and claytonsaver - if I didn't have a 10 year old, I would have no idea who they were either. They have a TV show on the Nickolodean channel.

    Right there with you, Nancy!
