Thanks for the suggestions on the non-scanning printables, Faye. I did ask for a manager, but didn't think to ask them to use the hand held scanner. I think the old barcode is on the coupons with which I had a problem. They were the General Mills cereal coupons we printed weeks ago-- Frosted Toast Crunch, Peanut Butter Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, etc. They do not expire until Saturday. Maybe I'll go back and try again.

Not sure how much you need but the walmart on fayetteville rd has the 3.5lb bag of purina one beyond on sale for $1.00. There was a recent coupon for $2.00 off that exact brand. The cashier let me put the other $1.00 towards my purchase. Now that I think about it I shouldve bought 2 bags lol but hey free dog food and $1.00 off my whole bill, not bad. :) Happy Shopping!!

juliemom2 - I find a lot of the pet deals by checking express lane on HT's website. I've noticed they don't include all the deals in their ads.

Thanks so much! I'm always trying to figure out who has the best deals on the things I use every week & can't stock up on. This helps so much.

Can you add a pet section to this great list? Pet food falls into a lot of our weekly buy lists. Thanks so much for all you do.

I agree with the relationship part - the manager at the HT in Fuquay recognizes me now and will offer to help me find things if I am having trouble. I think he also likes that I am donating a big part of my purchases :)
