Thank you, Faye! That is very valuable.

Straitlover1965: Thanks for your help! I'll stop by HT on my way home today and get a few b*lls. I'm assuming you can freeze them, right? Sorry about all the questions!
Does anyone have any good but easy pizza recipes?

  • straitlover1965 Feb 23, 2012

Sorry, I didn't see you question til this AM. The pizza dough b*ll is about the size of a softball and makes a whole pizza. How big would depend on how thick you want the crust. I'd say minimum 16 inches unless you like that thick pan pizza crust (yuck!).

Garner nurse - my price book is online on this blog here. You can also find the link to it on the home page of the blog (look for the box with the picture of the strawberries).

I just made some updates and additions to it yesterday. Hope that helps.

Does anyone know of an online grocery price book for the local area? I've been keeping my own spreadsheet, but I think it would be far more valuable with more information in it! Thanks for the help!

    Computer trainer,
Try Aldis for the eggs. They have been having good prices on eggs lately.

Where is the best price on Eggs these days? Almost $2 for a dozen eggs is just disgusting.

tiffh: I've found it is good for up to 3-4 months. I make my own baby food as well and just puree whatever we eat and then freeze it in ice-cube trays. once frozen, just stick the cubes in a bag and you can pull out as needed. I would make a big pot of spaghetti and add about 10-12 vegetables and then blend. your baby gets lots of veggies in and he/she won't be able to tell the difference. I do the same with my 2 year old. He's just used to lots of veggies being in his foods that he doesn't know any different :)
