Did everyone enjoy their dose of winter weather? Here in Johnston County, I think it snowed for 10 minutes. Not much sledding happening here this winter.....

Also, if you take those $5/5 Kellogs coupons to FL, you can buy cereal for around $.50 per box. Qualifying kinds (for us, we like rice krispies, and they qualify!) can be submitted for the Kellogs rebate that's floating around where you get a $10 gift card for sending in the form and 10 USBs from qualifying boxes = money maker on CEREAL!

I just had "dueling" ZVRs come off for Osteo BiFlex at HT. It was $17.50, and I had a $5 and a $6 ZVR as well as a $6 paper coupon, making it $.50. Yay!

Fun fact: my old faithful chocolate lab takes one of these every day, and it makes is joints feel SO much better. We can tell a huge difference - and our vet recommended it. If you have an achey old pup, check with your vet b/c it's way cheaper than the doggie version and has the same ingredients.

Loving the free $20 from having a prescription filled at HT. It was for an antibiotic--covered fully by my insurance, so I paid 0 and got $20 off add to my vic card, so the next time I spend 20 at HT...that will be 0!!

Yeah Faye! I am glad that you were able to find some! Supposedly there was someone in Fuquay that got a cart full of them before I got there. I understand the excitement, but please share some with the rest of us! :) I needed to grab a few for a friend and my husband.

Nancy -- I know the mix probably isn't worth it and would be cheaper to do on your own, but for a quick meal fix it is a great option! Definitely not a regular item for me but will be great when we have my parents over (without knowing ahead of time!). I think I am going to vacuum seal one of them for in a few weeks.

I just made the cutest menu for my kitchen -- printed a cutesy menu grid I made up and then put it in a frame to hang up. You can write on the outside with dry erase marker and then erase when it is time for the next week :) If you want a copy for an 8.5/11 frame let me know! mchowner at yahoo

Kids eat free is back at Chili's tomorrow and Wed. (2/21 and 2/22!) This is a great deal because two kids can eat free per adult meal purchased and most locations allow take-out as long as you bring the kids.

"If anyone printed out that Fresh Take from Kraft coupon last week or the week before, they had them at HT for $2.99 - $1 coupon = 99 cents until tomorrow! Worth a try for 99 cents."

It's great, got it for 99 cents during Lowes Foods SD's - they had it on sale for $2.99. But, seems to me it would be easy to make up this type of mixture - I'm going to work on it. I'll tweak it until I get it right LOL

Frosted flakes cereal at Just Save for 90 cents a box. Each box is 2.50. Buy five boxes and use the 5.00 off Kellogg's cereal printable. Just Save has promo going where you buy 3 and get 3.00 instant savings. Watch your receipt to make sure you get the savings and have the sale paper with you. My savings did not come off but the head cashier refunded the 3.00 to me.

HappyGirl08 - I bought London Broil a month or so ago when it was on sale at Food Lion. It was 4:30 on a Sun afternoon, and the lights were on in the meat dept but I didn't see anyone there, and could tell they had just cleaned up because the floor was wet. After checking out, I stopped at CS to ask about having them grind meat, and they said sure, but the guy was leaving at 5:00 and had already cleaned the equipment. Rather than hauling the meat back to FL on another day, I enlisted hubby's help at home. I do have a meat grinder attachment for the ol' food processor, so we had a grinding/vacuum-sealing event, and that was that. Took extra time, and there was cleanup involved, but we might do this again.

From steph: "The $4 ECB thing is working again for Shick Hydro Sensitive shaving cream (only sensitive kind) and the light pink skintimate skin therapy. None of the other colors were working supposedly. If you find either one, they are free after ECB! I got two of each at the CVS on Sunset and got back $16."

THANK YOU, steph!! I missed out on this one when it was live the last time. I was thrilled to find a few at my local store. Now we each have a new....FREE shaving cream! Even the Skintimate that rang up at $3.59 issued a $4 ECB and I had a .55 coupon so that was a 95 cent money maker. :-)

I only got the ones you indicated were included in the deal and they worked. Thanks again!
