ALDI deals 2/15 - 2/21

As usual, ALDI has some excellent produce deals this week including grapes for 89 cents per lb, Cantaloupe for $1.19 each, a 5 lb bag of grapefruit for only $1.19 and more! These deals are valid 2/15 - 2/21.

Reminders:

* ALDI does not accept manufacturer coupons

* You will need to bring your own bags to bag your groceries. They do not provide any.

* If you wish to use a grocery cart, you will need to deposit a quarter into the cart machine and you will get it back when you return the cart.

* They accept cash, debit and EBT cards as forms of payment. They do not accept credit cards or checks.

Weekly deals

Green or red grapes .89/lb – a great price

Cantaloupe $1.19 each – great price

Grapefruit, 5 lb bag, $1.19 – great price

Navel oranges $1.39 per 4 lb bag – great price

Bananas .44/lb

Stir Fry Teriyaki or Oriental, 37 oz., $3.49

Does anyone know if the pineapples are still .99? i bought a pineapple cutter at Aldi for 5 dollars and I can now cut one up in 40 secs start to finish. Yes I timed it. Amazon sells the same one for 20 bucks.

Kathy - I price matched the 4 lb bag of oranges and the bananas at Walmart today. So easy and such great savings! Their cantaloupes looked a little iffy so I will wait a few days and see if they get any more in and then price match those as well!

Thanks for the tip about price matching Walamrt and Aldi. I forgot about it. With that and my husband's employee discount, our produce bill will really drop in price. Kathy

Thanks Nancy for the tips. I shopped there for the 1st time looking for produce and I was curious about what else was good. I noticed in their ad this week, they had sweet and sour chicken and General Tso's chicken and it looked good. Their frozen pizzas look good too.

bowb4 - their frozen angus burgers are terrific! Wonderful flavor and don't shrink up much :) I also love their frozen cooked and peeled jumbo shrimp. And for basic baking staples, they can't be beat on price very often!

I'm trying to shop at Aldi's for more of my groceries. Is there any frozen food or grocery item that is yummy?

Carrots: 2# $1.19, Celery $1.19 a bunch, Cucumbers 59cents each, Strawberries 16oz $1.99, Blueberries $2.49 (not sure weight), baby carrots 99cents, 5# bag of oranges $1.39, bag of 5 TX grapefruit $1.19, mushrooms $1.29. I spent $35 in produce for myself and 2 co-workers. Best place to get consistently "fair" produce prices. Sometimes the sales are even better. On day 30 of a 60-day juice fast, and Aldi has made it affordable.

Faye how do you get the Aldi ad? I've tried to print it but Walmart won't accept it for price matching. They say I have to have the actual newspaper ad. I don't get an Aldi ad in my N&O on Sundays.
