I went to Walgreens at Hope Valley today and could not use two coupons for the Got2B hair stylers (to make the items free). The manager said she could not let me use a $3 coupon on a free product! I was even buying other items as well. Needless to say I took my coupons and left.

Free Got 2 B hair stylers- on sale for $3-$3 coupon in today's paper = FREE!

  • littanybreigh Feb 12, 2012

Got2B hair stylers are also on sale BOGO free for 5.99 each. There was a $3.00/1 coupon in today's paper. If you use 2 coupons, both products are free. I had to gently remind my Walgreens of their coupon policy to adjust coupons down instead of making customers buy additional product (They said that I had to spend $.01 more to use both coupons). If you're just getting this deal, nothing else to take up that $.01, I'd go with their coupon policy in hand. Happy hair product!

Another trouble with Lowe's Super Dbles. Shopped 1 day, then 2 days later, coupon would not scan.In self check out, clerk came over, tried to say I did not have the item.I did. She got it thru manually, did not dble it, $1. said only dble up to 98 c.
She argued that with me, I showed her the sales paper that lay there, she had to get a piece of paper for the "dble" to go thru. When working there they should know the policy, esp. when she had just scaned thru others. I would have left the store if I could have gotten my already deposited cpns. back. I'll skip them any more. Wait for supers at HT. acoolcat

Thanks Faye I will make sure to contact them on Monday. I was so surprised at what they told me. I glad someone else understands their coupon policy besides me.

doggiebone - they were incorrect. The Super Doubles policy that Lowes Foods posted here:

    http://www.lowesfoods.com/lfs/assets/Docs/Super%20Doubles%20Coupon%20Policy.pdf

clearly indicates it is 20 coupons PER DAY. I suggest you call corporate on Monday and relay your experience and ask them to please contact the Holly Springs store so they understand their policy. I would not be surprised if they offered you a gift card for your trouble. I also suggest you print the policy and the regular everyday policy (which also allows for 20 coupons per day) and keep them with your coupons so if this happens again, you will have them available. So sorry you had this experience. I am really surprised they did not know if was 20 per day. Glad they finally doubled them, at least.

This has nothing to do with Walgreens, but I just wanted to let all the couponers out there know something. I live in Spring Hope, NC and shop at our local Lowes Food store. I shopped there on Wed. At the beginning of the super double coupon week. I took my husband with me and we both had a cart for checkout. We did fairly good with coupons and the sales. I went back today and when I was checking out, I was told that my coupons could not be doubled because I shopped there earlier in the week! I was appalled and could not believe what I was hearing! After arguing with the cashier and manager my coupons where eventually doubled. Has anyone else heard such nonsense? Am I missing something?
