I was merely suggesting GROCERY CART TRACKER for those that were not aware of it . The format is nice - you only get the prices of the items you want/need and an overview of the place where the most "best deals" are - saving time & gas.

tikicat, yes, that is the basic idea (grocery cart tracker) but that only seems to be grocery stores. we all know that the best prices on milk and oj are quite often at cvs...walgreen's...target. :)

There are several Avent $1.50 coupons at http://www.couponnetwork.com/ these would be great the super doubles.
These are for pacifier packs, baby bottles and toddler cups.

"I bought some crockpot liners today in your honor."

LOL Flying! If you never used them before, you're gonna be hooked big time :) I'm gonna hook Faye up with some free ones soon and then she'll be stuck ;)

I would also suggest shredded & block cheese & bagged salad mix on the essential list.

I think the "essentials" thread is a fabulous idea! Each week I need milk, bananas, and cucumbers and I am always researching where the cheapest place is.

    Faye -
The Thursday 'basic provisions' post sounds like a great idea! In addition to the other fantastic suggestions, I wouldn't mind seeing a listing for coffee, pet food, seasonal fruits & veggies, ice cream (don't judge, y'all LOL)

    Nancy-
Good to see you back...I bought some crockpot liners today in your honor...and a big ole pork shoulder that's going in the crockpot in the morning!

    Aldi -
Got the tri colored peppers, artisan lettuce, strawberries...all are nice quality, especially for this time of year!! Can't rule out I won't go back for more :)

    Lowes-
It was like searching for a needle in a haystack - quite the adventure, but was able to still find some good deals - whisker lickins (4), muellers (6), UP2U (2), Trident (3), Protein bar (can't remember brand), Egglands, Reynolds crockpot liners, Rondele spreadable cheese, Sundown iron pills, Bayer Advanced, Aussie Conditioner, GG boxed veggies (3), cat litter, cat food, split chix breasts, and a big HONKIN' pork shoulder on M

The Grocery Cart Tracker from "5 on your Side" is helpful for pricing certain "staples" - it does 15 items many of them the everyday ones that have been mentioned - milk, OJ, bread, apples, lettuce, etc. and is current as of today .
