Posted February 8, 2012

At Harris Teeter this week, you will find some very good deals including milk for $2.97/gallon, Birds Eye Steamfresh veggies for as low as 19 cents, Archway cookies for 49 cents and more!  These deals are valid 2/8 – 2/14.

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy has recently changed and now states that you can only use two coupons on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

Click HERE for the official Harris Teeter Coupon Policy.

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

My HT butcher is the best...they broke down my chicken fryers into 8 pieces no questions asked :)

  • hollyautry Feb 9, 2012

I got a $1.00 off Q from HT in the mail a couple weeks ago that I used in conjunction with the $.55/1 MQ so I got it for $2.29 for the 32oz. very good price on that one

"Velveeta cheese is on sale for $4.39 for 32oz with card. So if you still have any coupons it is a great deal. Even $4.39 is a great price. Makes the best Mac and Cheese."

Northland is printing .55/1 so you should be able to use 2 coupons for an even better deal.

Thanks Nancy! I'll share the findings, in case anyone else would like to know, tomorrow when I call. :)

  • Nancy Feb 8, 2012

luckyladybug - I've never had it done but to save you a trip, you could call the store and ask to speak with the meat department and ask :)

This may be kind of a silly question, but will the HT butchers quarter the whole fryers if asked? Is there a charge for this if they will? My husband and I can't eat a whole chicken at once and I don't care for leftovers (I know...I'm picky!) I hate handling raw chicken more than absolutely necessary. lol

  • jdouglas13 Feb 8, 2012

I'm excited about the chickens for $0.79/lb, although I'm kinda hoping for a raincheck. My freezer is packed too. Although I was thinking if I break them down, I might be able to fit a couple. Finding space for something as big and oddly sized as a whole chicken can be a challenge! Of course, cooked meat that is shredded and put in a ziploc back shouldn't take too much space. Same for broth out of the bones.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Feb 8, 2012

Ooops - I already traded your last marble for some crock-pot liners! LOL ;-)
