Check your Lowes receipts! If the cashier has to manually enter a coupon, they are often hitting the charge a dollar grocery key instead of the credit a dollar key. Then they hit the double key to give you a dollar credit, so basically you got nothing for the coupon! I caught this twice when I checked my receipt before leaving the store. I went to customer service and the manager said that it was very easy to hit the wrong key. She even hit it trying to give me my money back!

I had a great experience at Lowe's in Greenville - live in Kinston and we don't have one so that is the closest. The asst. mgr. went up front to get me a sale paper because I forgot to get one on the way in and he brought a SoBe coupon back to me also. I spent 25.00 and saved $55.00!

Went out of my comfort zone this morning and tried the LF on Strickland Rd. Wow, what a difference. The store was stocked and ready at 7:30. I found everything I was looking for except the Marcal napkins. Everyone was helpful and friendly. No problems at the checkout-I watched the coupons scan! Didn't realize the Muellers were DND but otherwise, a great trip.Saved right at 50% and bought items not on special-even pork chops :)

Was at the Clayton Lowes on 2/10 about 4:00pm. Only one pasta on the shelf, so must have had lots of people follow you, Faye! :)
I could not get Smithfield bacon, but did get Activia. Clerk knew immediately to input the Cheezit coupon as she knew it would not scan (has the new code only). Most of the other items I got were from using IP coupons or coupons from mailers, samples or actual packages. Assume those coupons are not as common. Happy with my haul which was on impulse after work and completely unorganized. Did Lowes know I had a particularly busy week this week? lol
BTW, I know for a fact that the Clayton Lowes gets truck in every day but Sunday, although I do not know what the resupply timeline is or if only certain items come in at a time. I find no more trouble with Lowes out of stocks that I do with HT, since I am never at either the first day of sales.

I'm not sure if someone has posted this deal yet, but I just went to the Lowes in Clayton, and I had a $1/2 coupon for Pillsbury sweet rolls (that I printed from Pillsbury.com) and used it to buy 2 of the small packages of cinnamon rolls that were only 99c (so they ended up being free!) I was also able to print new coupons for Kikkoman here: http://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/2012/02/another-new-11-kikkoman-coupon-free-stir-fry-mix-2.html and got 3 free Kikkoman sauces!

I went to Lowes on Rowlock Way behind Carmax on Glenwood. I grabbed a basket instead of a cart, thinking I wouldn't have much luck. How wrong I was. They had everything on my list including Whole Wheat Pasta and Marcal Napkins. They still had some pasta and napkins left but were starting to run low. The lady who checked me out was awesome, she is a fellow couponer. All of my coupons scanned without any problems. I spent $12 with a savings of 75%.

    Great job, couponmom!

I popped in to Lowes, not to really do SD (too many tales of horror and bare shelves, I'm just not committing much effort), but because I needed some butter, and I always check clearance. They had Pampers on clearance for $6! Super Doubled $1.50 coupon (SO many thanks to the woman who's name I do not remember at the swap who hooked me up with some Pampers coupons), they were $3 a pack! Now THAT's what I'm talking about.

40andtired - aren't they nice at the 42/50 store?! That's "my" Lowes Foods and they do a great job.

I have no info about the Raleigh stores. Sorry. I hope you find a gem like mine. :-)
