Lowes Foods Super Doubles 2/8 confirmed!

Posted February 6, 2012

Lowes Foods will be offering Super Doubles starting Wednesday, 2/8! They have announced the promotion on their website HERE and it looks like all stores will be participating.

The promotion will run from February 8 - February 14th.

They will double coupons that are $1.98 or less.

They will double up to 20 coupons per day.

They will double up to 3 identical coupons.

They will not allow you to do separate orders that result in doubling more than 20 coupons per day.

They will not double Do Not Double coupons according to the policy.

The policy also indicates that no rainchecks will be given for out-of-stock items.

For the complete Super Doubles coupon policy, click HERE.

I was told that there would be a good deal on General Mills products: buy 4 GM cereals, save $4.00, buy 4 betty crocker snacks save $4.00. Once I have the ad, I'll have more details.

I will have a good deals list started by tonight, 2/6.

I am also hearing from multiple sources that Harris Teeter will be Super Doubling starting on Wednesday 2/15!  Once again, it is not confirmed but I will know more details later this week.

What a fun 2 weeks this could be!  So exciting to have a Lowes Foods event again!

Thank you for checking into the JustSave part of things, Faye.

Dawn - yes, that is what I mean. They were allowing it, but as of this week, my understanding is that the Lowes Foods website does indicate that you can't combine them.

Flashy - I just e-mailed my corporate person about the Wake Forest store today because their registers are not scanning the new GS-1 barcodes and the store is not accepting them. They said they would address it - don't know how soon. Please call corporate customer service yourself to voice your concerns as well.

AND, if you pay the wrong price because something rang up wrong at LF, HT, Kroger and FL, you get it FREE. Go to customer service after the transaction and you will get the full amount back that you paid and you keep the item. It's called a price scan guarantee and all 4 of those grocery stores have it. :-)

spalding, as redneck girl pointed out, that is coupon fraud and the HT should not be allowing that. Coupons should be used on only the items allowed in the wording on the coupon and on nothing else. As redneck girl very graciously said, you may not have meant to indicate that you used coupons for items that are not allowed by the coupon or we just misunderstood. So for anyone else, just to clarify:

Coupons can only be used on the products that are specifically indicated on the coupon and on nothing else. Other use of them is coupon fraud. Stores are checking much more closely these days to make sure that what you bought is really what is on the coupon, especially when a coupon beeps.

Hi spaldingcoupon you may not know this but unless the coupon is for the exact item it says it is for that is coupon fraud. Just because the numbers match up and the coupon goes through does not mean it should be done that way. Just an FYI since you may not realize what you are doing. Hopefully I just misunderstood what you were asking.

This is very scary. I dont know about anyone else, but the Lowes in Wake Forest has terrible customer service and their items are either mismarked they give some reason why they wont take your coupon on a marked down or sale item.
FYI everyone.....if you shop at that store DOUBLE CHECK your receipt. Make sure you are getting the right price.

Faye, when you say e-coupons are you talking about the Lowes digital coupons that you load to your card? Just used one a week ago for the Nature Valley granola bars & also used mfg coupons & had no problem at all.

about rainchecks...I just read on LF blog that they will issue rainchecks but they will not honor the super double coupon with it. So it's just like at HT. I wish their rainchecks lasted more than 30 days though. I rarely get their rainchecks for that reason, but at least you will still have the option of getting one during this promotion.

At HT they will let you use a coupon for an item if the first 5 numbers on the coupon match the bar code on the item. Does Lowes Foods allow that also?

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Feb 6, 2012

Corporate e-mailed that super doubles starts when each store opens. :-)

Corporate did confirm that none of the Just Save stores (sister grocery store to Lowes Foods) will be super doubling.
