That's a good deal ddalmas! Thanks for sharing it!

I printed 2 of the $2/1 Tilex Mold and Mildew coupons that Faye blogged a week or so ago, but then didn't make it to Walgreens that week to use them. This week RA has these $2/5 and a $1 SCR, so 2 free after 2 Qs and SCR.

masksof venom - they had many more free after +up deals a year ago in many more product categories. I shopped them much more often then because of the better deals. Even though the list of eligible products is longer, the deals are not better - they are just requiring you to buy in larger quantities than before. The individual deals just aren't there as often for the stuff we buy. It could be that for the stuff you use a lot, the deals are good for you. I am glad you can find some good buys there.

When I can get all the same stuff and more for free at CVS with rolling ECB's, coupons, sales, prescription transfer gift cards and gift cards from Swagbucks, it is a much better deal for me to shop at CVS.

Something else going on with RA lately - this is posted on their Facebook page -

    Rite Aid
As we continue to enhance our wellness+ program in ways to deliver even more value and convenience that you’ve been asking for, we’ll be testing an exciting new Load2Card feature in three markets: Richmond, Salt Lake City and Seattle beginning today. In this test, we’re making a few changes: 1) +UP Rewards will be automatically loaded to members’ wellness + cards so you no longer have to worry about keeping track of your paper receipts and 2) a +UP can be used starting at 6 a.m. on the day after it was earned and will remain valid for 14 days. Nothing has changed outside these test markets – the +UP’s generated on your register receipt can still be used on same-day next purchases.

With the latest Video Values coupons set, they have reduced the expiration dates from 8 weeks to 6 weeks too.

And the individual deals are pretty sad overall, having to spend a lot more to get +UP rewards on even individually sale priced items.

Noticed these coupons on the Rite Aid website: $1 off Alberts chocolate rose; $1 off Tums. These are RA qs so would stack. Tums exp 2/11 but rose goes to 2/18 post Valentines' Day.

Faye - Actually the deal at Rite Aid are the exact same as they are a year ago. Same hard push on Rite Aid brand deals, same buy $100 and get $20 +ups. Actually the list of eligible products has pretty much doubled over last year.

I am going to have to look at CVS very seriously. I usually don't shop there, because it is across town, but am really going to look there now. I really like the people at Rite aid, but there just aren't the deals they used to have...I can only buy so many packs of gum! :-)

Watchhill - I totally agree. The deals now are very different at Rite Aid than they were a year ago. Many more big ticket deals (buy $100 and get $20 in +ups) and fewer of the smaller aweome freebies & deals. I am with Nancy on this one. I almost totally focus on CVS and buy a few things at Walgreens every few weeks. CVS is very convenient for me and my CVS is very coupon friendly. That definitely helps.

watchhill - they're LOUSY lately. Used to be my top drug store weekly and I haven't bought but a couple items in the last two months :(

CVS though has picked up again :) Not this week but the last couple weeks or so they have been putting out great deals!
