If anyone is thinking about doing the mail-in rebate for pfizer that was in the Sunday newspaper you may want to purchase your items at CVS. If you buy 2 products (advil, advil PM, thermacare, centrum, caltrate or robitussin) then you get a $4 ECB at CVS. The mail-in rebate is $10 back when you purchase 3 items. I paid $19.97 before coupons (had $5 worth of coupons, rec'd $4 ECB, then will receive $10 back by mail).

Secretagent - my experience at CVS is you have to buy both to get the 2/$xx price, then if you buy a third, you get it at the sale price. Strange, I know, but it's how they work it.

That right Nancy I went this morning and was able to get some the shelf tag was gone but I remember which one .. So I don't know what that blogs referring to unless at their store

bowb4me2 - CVS tok my 2 coupons and just overrode them so they were accepted at $1.99 each.

CVS has some of the Irish Spring body wash marked down to 50% off with the $1.00 Q in the paper....making them $1.50 each.

Hershey’s milk chocolate bunny, Cadbury Egg, Reese’s single egg on sale for .87 - .87 ECB = FREE after reward!, limit 1
I got this today and my ECB did not print. The cashier had to do it manually so I got $1 instead.
I got the Pfizer deal too. Children advil in CVS had a $2.oo off Q's off plus the $1.oo off the regular advil with coupons and ECB I got 2 regular advil and 1 children advil for 2.24 with taxe....YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know how the CVS "2/$xx" sale works? For example, at HT you can buy 1 of the deal and get the item at half of the sale price. Do they do that at CVS or do you have to buy both products to get the deal? Hmm...does that even make sense? Thanks!!

crystal, people are posting on other coupon sites that as of this morning, they're still getting the ECB on the shaving creams - so worth a shot if someone wants to try!

  • crystal29 Jan 31, 2012

I think they have stop the ECB printing at cvs for shaving cream FYI

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Jan 31, 2012

That's odd, bowb4me - my CVS always just modifies the amount of the coupon up to the product price.

Shave gel deal is even better if your bottles have the $2 peelie on them!
