Thanks - heremeaj. I have been in there and the place is always deserted. Before couponing I mostly shopped at Food Lion. If they want to stay competitive, in MHO they need to start doubling coupons. Even it is only up to .50 like Kroger.

If you live in the town of Fuquay...HT has 1 gallon milk for 99 cents...the only thing is there is a sale by date of Jan 29th on them...can't beat that as fast as my kids go through milk.

halfmarathonmom, that has happened to me at Walgreens too. They explained to me that they have to have as many items as coupons even though the items and coupons are correct. Their store reward coupons count separate instead of like cash. Doesn't seem right, but that's their policy :(

Food Lion at the corner of Maynard and Harrison. You can't see it from the road, the small shopping center it is in hides the stores from street view. It is directly accross the side street from Aldi

That's what she said, it was just one of those days where everyone was irritating me so I just gave up and left. Plus I didn't really need any more medicine. I already bought two boxes earlier in the week where the same Walgreens let me use 2 coupons for 2 boxes. Maybe the cashier did an override.

sbigham3, they work out to be $1 each with the $3/2 q. I like the idea of the cold medicine dissolvable strips.

Rite Aid is closer anyway. Maybe I'll just start shopping there.

halfmarathonmom - Walgreens has the most confusing coupon policy of the drugstores, in my opinion. The cashier was correct, though - if you have a $3/2 coupon, it counts as two coupons because it applies to two items. So to stack a RR on top of the coupon, you have to buy another item. I buy a 50 cent bar of candy whenever I'm in this situation - I just consider it a sweet candy bonus for that day.

Which Food Lion on Maynard is closing? There are 3 on or directly off Maynard.

halfmarathon, Walgreens is the weirdest with their coupons, they should have taken both that coupon and the RR, you have to have one item for each coupon you use, including their RR because they are considered a MQ.

I was going to do the Triaminic deal at Wags too but I don't see a $3/1 q. I only see a $3/2 and that doesn't make them free. Am I missing something?
