Walmart: FREE gum and pens!

Posted January 19, 2012

You can pick up some free pens and gum this week at Walmart with available coupons!

The Bic Cristal Pens are .97 and if you use the $1 coupon from 1/8 SS, they are FREE! Actually, Walmart gives you the 3 cent overage to use on the rest of your purchase. Sweet.

UP2U Gum by Mentos is .99 and up at Walmart, so if your store carries the .99 variety, it's free with the $1 coupon from 1/1 SS!

Thanks, Faye! I love the fact that you take the time to inform your readers on great deals and then leave it up to us if we want to enjoy the deal or not. I appreciate every single penny I can save for my family and I really don't care what store it is - to me, a penny saved is a penny earned especially if I have to drive right by that location or am there for some other reason anyway. Be encouraged and keep the deals rolling!!!!

Faye, thanks for your repsonse, just wanted to know for future reference.

Also, thanks for all the information you post, whether I choose to utilize or not. I am thankful that most of your blog followers are intelligent and mature enough to discern what they choose to do with shared information and deals. Your blog has been helpful for me in learning to use my resources much more effectively :)

hwurr - good question. Have asked it myself. Sometimes, those who are banned just create another account and go right back to posting negative and unwelcome comments. My suggestion is to keep hitting that Report Abuse button when you see comments that are inappropriate or negatively target an individual so the mods can remove that specific comment, which they had to do here and there.

The comment I believe you are referring to below was not nearly as obnoxious as others I have seen from this person so doesn't really warrant being tossed. But for those that do cross the line, please report them.

Thanks to everyone for keeping it positive!

RB Kindred.....While I agree with you about Walmart...this was posted to let people know where they can use their coupons...This is a helpful tool for some of us who don't have the time/energy/gas to run around trying to get what we can free or discounted to support/treat our families. Thank you for your input on Wally World!! :)

    Faye,
Just a general question for you or can you direct me to someone at WRAL who may be able to answer:
How many instances does someone have to be submitted "Report Abuse" before they are no longer allowed to post comments?

Thanks LAXmom for your helpful and positive information! :-)

While that is a deal, you have to think about how much of your time and energy are you wasting in Wal-Mart in the first place. Unless I was a die hard Wal-Mart shopper there is no way I'd go there just to get a free pen or gum. My time is a lot more valuable than 3 cents.

I'd much rather use that coupon in a Target (10pk bic cristal black pens are 99c), CVS, Walgreens or grocery store where I don't have to be the 10th person in line behind people with full shopping carts needing price checks on every 3rd item.
