Thanks Faye! Love the new coupons. Grape tomatoes and feta is a favorite salad so the Athenos coupon is big with me! PLUS superbowl is coming up and salsa is a staple...I might have to try the Newman's Own with the coupon!

Highspirits-Wow! Looking forward to seeing how that works out.

Hi Shelleycole (and all). I actually asked a Food Lion manager about doubling coupons in December. The manager said that FL was testing the promotion "in certain markets" with a potential rollout to all FL stores mid 2012.

Faye- I emailed FL corporate (don't know if it'll do any good) about this. Mebane's online flyer didn't show that sale price but Durham did. Hard to believe that 15 minutes away they would charge more than twice as much for the same product. Crazy!

The Yoplait kids yogurt wound up $.77 a pack. :)

I had a great HT trip today. Some great deals I got include the Lucky Charms treats for $.30 (using the $.60 off paper q and the eq), $.30 fruit snacks (using the $.60 off paper q and the eq, and $.60 Fiber One bars using the same paper and eq). Also got great deals on the Yoplait kids yogurt using paper and eq!

Faye, went by my food lion in Mebane to stock up on the yogurt for lunches and was a little disappointed to see the yogurt there was 11/5.00=.45 ea. I got my 40 anyway because we will definitely eat it. Did I get the wrong ones or is the price that much higher in my area? I'll definitely be transferring my script to help make up for it!

Shelly - you just call the HT pharmacy at the store you want to go to and they will ask you some questions. If you have the prescription bottle in front of you from the most recent time you filled it, you will have all the info the pharmacist needs including script name, script number, pharmacy phone number and location, and of course your name and number. I also suggest letting the HT pharmacist know that you are happy to see the $20 transfer incentive and that is what prompted you to transfer your script.

Great job on your meal deals, sewhunt and savvysaver!

The HT on Kildaire and Tryon also substituted the Perdue Smart Chicken for the Perdue Whole Grain tenders because they were out of the Smart Chicken. And they took my Smart Chicken coupon. And they took my CVS ECB. Total for whole meal deal and 2 additional Steamfresh after coupons and ecb was $1.40. :-) I really do love Harris Teeter.

I found the statement below on Food Lion website, Wonder if that means they are considering doubling coupons at there stores. They are the closes to me so that would be awesome!

Food Lion currently offers a senior discount of 6% off on Mondays for customers age 60 and up, in 13 stores in the North Georgia area. These Food Lion stores also accept competitor coupons and double coupons. Food Lion will continue to do all we can to find more ways to help our customers save money. If you have additional questions regarding senior discounts, please feel free to Contact Us.
