Check this out. went through Uscan. Holly Springs location. They say they are having issues with barcodes not in system for colgate, manwich, and glass plus. Here is my order and what happened.
    bought 6 kraft shred w/3 x .50/2 coupons 1.5 = then double 3.00.
    bought 3 colgate paste w/3 x .75 = 1.50 then double = 4.50.
    bought 3 colgate brush w/3 x .75 = 1.5 then double = 4.50.
    bought 3 manwich and sara lee w/1.00 = 3.00
bought 1 blue bunny w/1.00 = 1.00 bought 1 Glass pluss w/.35 then double = .70 Coupon total is 16.70 Cashier did not individually scan any coupons. Instead he manually rang up 7.50 MFG coupon and manually rang up 4.50 coupon. Total 12.00. figured it out when i got home. called store and CSR went and pulled my coupons and my receipt. yes sir we do owe you 4.70. Watch the math when you are in the store if they are manually adding your coupons up. going back out to HT shortly to collect.

I had 3 of the 50 bonus box tops certificates print off. Does anyone know if there were other items besides the ones listed on the promotion that counted towards the print offs (like the Progresso soups I bought) or are they duplicates that can't be redeemed by the school?

Ral ladybug - if the coupon has the old barcode and it starts with a 5 (instead of a 9) many HT's and most Lowes Foods and Kroger stores will scan it. When scanned, a coupon with a barcode starting with 5 will automatically double (even if the coupon indicated DND). More HT's are moving towards pulling out those coupons and entering them manually so they do not double. Just depends on which store you are at and who your cashier is.

The new GS-1 barcodes will not double if they say do not double.

At the HT I shop in Cary, they doubled all my DND's during super doubles, including the Planters Nutrition coupon (HT on Tryon and Walnut).

It is up to the store how they will handle these coupons and I am very grateful to those who double them offering that added savings.

Am I mising a coupon? My Planters NUTrition bar coupon says DND.

  • Nancy Jan 12, 2012

allsnug - that's a problem that needs to be addressed before you leave the store usually because they can pull out your coupons from the cashier's envelope and find the problem right then.

There is no way to do it after you leave the store and they've had so many other customers :(

Nivea lip stuff is 2/$3 according to the HT add. If you still have any Nivea lip coupons that makes it free. I am glad I still have one!

  • allsnug Jan 12, 2012

Quick question - One of my coupons did not double at HT today for some reason. The coupon did not say do not double but it did have the new bar code and the cashier used the hand scanner on my stack of coupons for some reason. I didn't notice it until I already left the store. I have my receipt and I have an extra coupon of the one that did not double. Can anything be done or would they just give me my .55 back? Maybe it's too late now.

    Thanks for any help!

Totalchaos - "eads up on the Grands Biscuits catalina, 'save $$ on your next order', it was not printing out this afternoon. HT was wiped out on the biscuits! =)"

Ok, mine did not print either, as well as one of my 50 bonus BTFE so here is the number to call for Catalina Marketing to have them send what is owed you:

877-210-1917 Option #1 (then #3 after they go through their list of choices) hold on the line for a rep and they will take down info from your receipt so have it handy :)

    Thanks Nancy
Thanks Oxy...I hope to be able to get to HT in time to pick up the items. I have been wanting to try the Perdue but at $9.00, that was juct too high for me. Good to know I can get a RC.

Bklyn - yes, every BOGO deal (not including the B2G3 or similar configurations) item can have a coupon attached to it. They changed that language last spring, finally. Many stores were already allowing it, only some would not.
