I did the Axe deal at CVS today and used my B1G1 cpn and $2 cpn. In my email the other day I received an coupon for $3 off $15 or $5 off $25 worth of Beauty products. Did you know that mens care items also count in the beauty category? Got a $10 CVS GC and had a really good CVS day.

What the axe deal

Crystal, at CVS this week they have a Buy 3 Axe shower gel for $4.49 each, get $4 ECB back - but with the coupons from Sunday's paper for B1G1 free, if you buy 4 of the shower gels, your B1G1 free coupons will scan for a credit of $5.99 - so you make up some money on the sale price.

Here is the math for the deal:

(4) Axe @ $4.49 = $17.96 - two B1G1 coupons that credit $5.99 each ($5.98 new total due not including tax). Tax is figured on the $17.96 which would add $1.21 making the out of pocket total $7.19. Then you get a $4 Extra Care bucks back :)

Nancy, my cashier only used $4.49 as my free amount for the Axe. I wasn't going argue. I bought 3 c $4.49 - B1G1 cpn and $2 MQ. Added in Clean and Clear product for $5 - $3 MQ and used my $3 beauty product CVS coupon.

Momboozer, I wouldn't complain either :) But when I bought mine, the cashier scanned the coupon and it credited $5.99 on the BOGO coupon :) That helped since I did not have the $2 coupon you're referring to (had used them prior) LOL

CVS is rocking the deals the best of all 3 drug stores lately and I'm riding the wave :)

DON'T MISS THIS GREAT DEAL AT HT STARTING TOMORROW! I collect the Box tops for a local elementary school but the prices matched up with coupons will make it great for good deals on cereal in addition to getting the bonus BTFE!!
