Swag Code Extravaganza

Swagbucks is making Friday the 13th a lucky day this week with a Swag Code Extravaganza.  That means you will have extra chances to get reward points towards free stuff! It starts at 7am Eastern Time and throughout the day there will be 8 different Swag Codes.  If you can get them all, you'll have an extra 60 Swag Bucks in your account! You can find these super Swag Codes on the Swagbucks Twitter and Facebok pages and I will post the link to the codes in the comments section on this post as I find them. Remember, do not post the actual code - just the link to find the code.

New to Swagbucks?

How do you get these super Swagbucks? Each time you need to search for something online, use the Swagbucks search engine (instead of Google, for instance).  I actually have the Swag Bucks toolbar installed on my desktop and it places a search box right on my screen making it super easy to search.  There are also a number of other ways to earn Swag Bucks including taking surveys, answering polls, watching videos and more.

If you are on Twitter or Facebook, Swagbucks also posts links to codes that will earn you additional Swag Bucks. Once you click the link they give you and find the code (they will tell you how to find it) you then copy and paste the code into the "Gimme" box on the homepage of Swagbucks HERE. The Gimme box is on the right side of the page under the My Account section where it indicates: Enter your Swag Code.

You are welcome to post links to these awesome codes in the Comments section of this post or in the Find a Deal section here on the blog each day but please DO NOT post the actual Swag Bucks code. That's against Swagbucks policy and they will remove us both from the program for posting actual codes.  You are more than welcome to post the link to the page that shows the code though.

If you are new to Swagbucks, I bet you are wondering what you do with the Swagbucks you can earn. They can be cashed in for gift cards, books, magazines, movies and much more! I usually cash mine in for CVS or gift cards. A $5 Amazon gift card code is only 450 Swag Bucks and a $5 Starbucks gift card is 635 Swag Bucks.  It's such an easy way to score some freebies while doing the same searches you already do.

Crazy - I work on the computer for my living and as part of my job, I have to search the Internet for information throughout the day. Instead of using google, I use the Swagbucks search box. It's so easy even a monkey could do it - with no extra time commitment involved.

Do any of you women value your time into what you get out of swagbucks? The ROI is ridiculous to me. I'd rather spend time with my kids exercising and doing family things.

I imagine if you hoard on potato chips from coupons it's pretty easy to sit on your fat tush on a computer all day doing swagbucks, but I can't see the prize as being all that for the time.

It's kind of like the prizes kids get from playing video games at ChuckECheese. Not really worth anything in the big scheme.

But I suppose if you this is what makes you fat and happy do it.

mapela - I have been doing Swagbucks for over a year now as well and have never experienced spam issues or viruses, that I know of. Of course, I can't absolutely promise that they are not holding on to our search info, but I can't see how they are any different than any other search engine (except that they reward me to search!). Hope that helps.

    Congrats, Dstned!

    Nice score Jaredsmom!

I love the SB happy dance, Stephanie. :-)

I just ordered my first reward from swagbucks last night... a CVS giftcard! :)

So this is totally safe? It doesn't keep track of your searches? I am leery of unknown sites, but if you are endorsing it, I'll give it a try!

I earned 25 early this morning which is the most I've ever gotten...I was super excited! I'm so happy you turned me on the Swagbucks Faye!
