The Freebies

FREE $4 from Kroger just for adding at least 1 P&G digital coupon to your Kroger digital account and sending an e-mail to 4 friends telling them about the promotion. It took me no time at all and the $4 is in my account waiting to be spent. I do not have to buy any specific products to get the $4 off at the register. It will be deducted from my next shopping trip at Kroger. First you need to go to the Kroger Digital Coupons HERE. Then sign in (or create an account). Then add at least 1 digital coupon to your account (I added 5). Then it will prompt you to add the 4 e-mail addresses. Then they will confirm that the $4 credit has been added to your Kroger rewards card. It’s that easy.

Free sample of Eucerin Calming Itch-Relief Treatment when you Like them on Facebook. You will need to log into Facebook before you can see their Facebook page.

My plan for 2012 is to use only debit cards

My financial goal is to better follow the drug store deals. I am good about using coupons to save at the grocery stores, but I do not always put the same effort into the drug store deals.

My financial goal is to save more money at the grocery store thanks to the Smartshopper.

Last year's goal was to pay off the credit card balance, and only use it for emergencies/occasional online purchase (I stray away from online purchasing b/c I prefer to purchase local whenever feasible...) got paid off in March.

This year's goal is to put away more money into an 'oh cr*p!' fund in order to assist w/ eventual car repairs, home repairs, etc, and to try to save up money towards a replacement car that I anticipate we'll need to purchase in 2013.

My financail goal this year is to be more diligent about my coupons, I do pretty good now but I still have a lot to learn and do. Hopefully I will find the time to attend the Smart Shopper class so that I can gain more knowledge to help family and friends save money.

I am really impressed with everyone's goals! From going to college, to having a baby to retiring - we have so many life cycles covered in these goals, don't we?!

rmconner - congrats on the baby coming in May!

pirategirl - so sorry about the pay cut but great job on starting the debt snowball.

Keep the end goal in mind everyone!

We are going to focus on making more than minimum payments on credit cards so we can get them paid off and likely save alot in interest charges!

Spend less money on eating out and use more coupons!

Financial goal for the year, to spend more face time with the girls (they're both turning 18!) teaching them how to manage money. Neither of them have money, so this will be a good trick.
