Savesavesave: I defrost the HT pizza dough int he fridge for a day or 2 until fully defrosted. Preheat oven to 350. Then I put a little olive oil on my pizza stone. Put pizza dough in middle of stone and roll out to sides of stone. I put a little olive oil on the rolling pin so the dough does not stick to it. I then put a little olive oil around the crust and sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasonings all over the uncooked crust. Bake crust in the oven for 8 minutes before putting on the toppings. Then remove crust from oven and top with desired toppings. We usually use green peppers, spinach, mushrooms, onions and/or black olives. Then top w/ cheese. I usually sprinkle with garlic powder and seasonings again. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min until done. Enjoy!

Yes!
Search "Deals Near You" on the BestBuy website to find a store near you that has them open box (and there are many of them) to get 10% off.
While on the site, notice the "Open Box" coupon for $25 off openbox tablets good to 28 Jan.
Note, a similar strategy can be applied to other tablets/ipads as well as laptops which are $50. I used both of these deals during the holidays to save a combine $135 (23%) off my purchases.

I am not a frequent shopper at Kroger and not very familiar with their policies. They are advertising if you buy 4 participating P&G items you save an automatic $4 at the register. The ad also states there are electronic coupons (like HT ZVR's) that you can load on your Kroger card for additaional savings. My question is, can I still use Manufacturer coupons for each item with the deals? Does anyone know or have they tried? Thanks!!!

Good Morning. For Chix, the lowest price I recall seeing is $1.67/lb for boneless(almost always @ Lowe's Foods)...if you see some in the $1.88/lb range (more often), that's pretty good too. For boned/split breasts, .99/lb is usually my buy price.
Laundry Detergent: 1.50 range is definite stock up, 1.99 is good if you're down to 1 or 2. Wisk & All are brands I see most @ 1.99 after coupons
Toothpaste - free to .25
Milk - depends on how much your family consumes...Smart Balance often goes on sale (or is FREE/close to free) during SD's...we like the fact that it has a longer fresh date, so can get 2 or 3 to bridge thru til the next sale.
Dawn-often the 'baby' size goes on sale @ Teeter for .99...some months P&G has .50 q's, making it free. This month the potential for savings is a wimpy .25 q (doubled) & .25 ZVR, so if it goes on sale for .99 you can get it for .25.
Hope this helps. Faye has a wonderful price book on her blog, which will give you a great start!

Our blog has so many wonderful people and I love to tap into your collective wisdom to help with a frugal goal. I'm becoming a little overwhelmed as I try to create a pricing book. As part of this, I'm struggling with what is considered the best "buy price" for items, especially as store prices have increased over the last few months. Would anyone be willing to share their buy price for popular items such as laundry detergent, tissue, dish soap (Cascade, Dawn, etc.), toothpaste, milk, eggs, soda, chicken breasts, etc.? Thanks!
