    Oh okay. That's what I thought. :)

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Dec 21, 2011

No ncsugirlie - you can use a Lowes Foods digital coupon and a hard copy (printed or other paper coupon) on the same item at Lowes Foods right now (just like at HT). You cannot use 2 paper coupons.

  • ncsugirlie Dec 21, 2011

Senglish - can use a paper coupon and a printed coupon for the same item and they will accept it right now? I did not know this. :)

  • senglish27529 Dec 21, 2011

Thanks, Faye. I think the post I read said "first of the year," which seems pretty soon! Not sure if this person had inside information or not, but I just want to be prepared -- I really don't like finding out at the register that the paper coupon I had planned to use won't be accepted.

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Dec 21, 2011

senglish - my Lowes contact told me they are working on the computers so they won't accept both but for now we could go ahead and use both. She had no time frame as to when the registers would stop allowing the stacking. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

  • senglish27529 Dec 21, 2011

Faye, have you heard anything about Lowes discontinuing their "unofficial" allowing of stacking electronic with paper coupons? I think I read something about that on another blog... I know that officially they don't allow it now, but they also don't stop it from happening (like Kroger actively does).

I did really well on cereal last week, using up all of my great GM coupons and electronic coupons. :-)

I thought I was looking at last week's ad when I saw this last night. For the first time in a few weeks though, I do not need any groceries...we are nice and stocked up for a couple of weeks.

Looked like the same ad to me as well. Guess they are giving their employees a break by not having so many shelf tags to change!
