Thanks Nancy!! I tried the crockpot turkey and it is awesome!! So much easier and a lot less hassle than the traditional turkey method. Thanks so much can't wait to have it for dinner tomorrow night!

eje - I do all my turkey breasts in the crockpot :) All you need to do is cut up in wedges or thick circles, a large onion, place that in the bottom of the crock pot first. Then the breast, then if you like, wedges of potatoes all around the outside edges you can fit them into.

Rub seasonings of your choice on top of the breast. Add about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of water. That's all there is to it :) I usually cook mine on low for about 8-10 hours, sometimes overnight (put in 10-11pm and turn off around 7-8am the next morning).

The breast will be so tender and cooked so moist! Remember though, it will not lift out in one piece. Have a platter ready to transfer large sections out.

    Enjoy!!

Help! I bought a turkey breast from Target and I want to try cooking it in my slow cooker. But...I'm scared it will turn out gross and being that turkey breast aren't cheap I hate to waste it. Can someone please provide me with any helpful tips/comments?!? Thanks!

Is anyone else having trouble getting into the Recyclebank website? I get their email, but get an error message every time I try to go there. Thanks.

SuperTarget is not convenient for me so I took the Target ad to Walmart and bought a turkey breast(House of Raeford) there for 99 cents. Also, bought a half ham(Smithfield) for 89 cents a pound which was FL's price. Saves stops and time rather than running from store to store with Walmart's competitive pricing.

I got mentos free this week at HT with the .55/1 coupon from awhile ago and Nescafe Taster's choice (7 count) from with the .65/1 printable on http://www.tasterschoice.com/offers/default.aspx

Already packed and sent them to my brother in the Navy. If you know someone who is deployed for the holidays, don't forget to let them know they're remembered this time of year - a few freebies (or even better: sturdy baked goods) and a card make all the difference.
