Starting Tuesday, December 13, Redbox will be giving away deals and prizes for 12 days including free rentals, discount codes and freebies from Sony, Barnes and Noble and more!

Simply text FUN to 727272 each day for a daily deal and a chance to be entered to win the prize of the day. Standard text messaging rates apply.

Redbox is also introducing Redbox gifts this year. Here is the info from Redbox:

"Available in DVD and game rentals, Redbox gifts are perfect for the teachers, colleagues, friends and family members on your list.

Each Redbox gift is accompanied by a personalized message and one of many design options, customizable for everyone on your list. They can be delivered via email, text or Facebook and the delivery date can be selected.

Redbox gifts are available at Redbox.com in bundles of 5 first-night DVD rentals for $5 or 10 first-night DVD rentals for $10. Additional DVD night rentals are $1.20 per night. Redbox gifts can be redeemed at any Redbox kiosk."
