Steph, we missed you :( Hope you're feeling better! Oxy told me you were under the weather....

Great job, Faye & Nancy!!

Nancy LOLOLOL yes yes. Only sew the legs up tho, that way it would go unnoticed until he put his leg in...err, tried to. LOL Oh my, I needed that. Too funny!

Elizabeth - I'd say leaving the CFA calendar hint on her Facebook page probably made it very clear what you wanted! Nicely done!

And please thank your daughter for her service to our country! She rocks!

Elizabeth! Isn't it fun to make those bags? Sooo quick and cheap (when bought like we do after the holidays). I make them year round as well, as fabrics go on sale for birthdays and the collegiate prints for college students, cartoon character prints and on and on the possibilities go!

I buy up a ton of their wired ribbon reels after the holidays to make my bows - and picks too to include in the bow, gussy them up LOL

Keep sewing Elizabeth!!! Some bags that I made several years ago have cropped up in some of the funniest places :) One actually came back to my sister from a friend she never used it on - still haven't figured out the 'route' it took LOL

Faye, I've already hinted to my daughter, the marine, that I wanted the Chick-if-la calendar this year. She knows how much I love their tea. I posted it on her facebook and I know I'm going to get another one from her this year. Great gift! Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth

Nancy, I'm so glad you mentioned the fabric bags here. I've been making my Christmas bags for years. Each year, I go to Joann's and buy up a lot of their Christmas fabric cheap! Real cheap! Then I come home and get to sewing. I make big, little, wine size, and jewelry size bags. I buy lots of red, green, and sparkle yarns, and using them to make a homemade rope, that is what I tie up my packages with. Some folks want to keep the bags, some don't in which I bring home and recycle next year. I'm so glad you mentioned this as I always thought it useless to buy paper that requires tape and tearing. You rock Nancy! You rock! Elizabeth from Yadkinville, NC

Totalchaos, I could give him a real quick *hint* if you'd like, I could sew his underwear closed LOL! Just kidding of course - well, unless you wanted me to ;)

Love the video! You gals are awesome! I have spent every spare minute looking for a discounted sewing machine. =) Even left it up on the computer so hubby 'might' get the hint. Hand sewing those would not be fun. Besides, I would only have 1 done by next year. lol

And don't forget that the Chick-fil-A calendar is a great gift. The calendar costs $6 and it has $35 worth of coupons for free products in it! Love the calendar!
