I am going to bake homemade pumpkin bread to give to my friends, family and neighbors. I cooked, pureed and froze the pumpkin ahead of time. I will use this puree to bake the pumpkin bread loaves the week before Christmas to give away :-)

I have a homemade cheesecake recipe that everyone seems to love so I am making cheesecake for everyone. Takes about 3 hours from beginning to end so I think they just don't like to take the time (easier to by in the grocery store but apparently not as good as mine because if I mention I have made some they want to know did I make extras). The cream cheese and pie crusts all are coming from super doubles and other sales.

We have had many blessings this year but things are still tight. Husband found a job in May, I had spinal fusion in May, our son was in a motorcycle accident in July and just had his third surgery last week. All of this has afforded me time to slow down and really look at things and now that FAMILY and FRIENDS are everything!!! Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas.

Am using all of my freebies from the drugstores the past 3 months for stocking stuffers for every member of my family, gave my brother a HUGE basket of things filled with products he uses & needs (struggling), I got a zulily certificate for a 3 Designing Women stamper for my mom and paid less than 1/2 price :), and we cashed in all of my hubbies airline miles for gift cards for Christmas for my parents. Also have been using certificates to Amazon from swag bucks,, my survey, and more that I have earned since September to pay for gifts!

I enjoy baking (when I have time). I enjoy giving gifts from the heart. I make peanut butter rounds and give them to my neighbors and coworkers. I reuse the tins from year to year and cut out circles from wax paper to separate the stacks inside the tin. The recipe was given to my by my mother-in-law and I hope to pass it down to my daughter and grandson one day. They are delicous!
