krbrown, was the stipulation not in the fine print? Many of these deals now revert back to price paid if not used in a specified period of time. That's very common with daily deals. The specified period of time was indicated on all the deals I have bought in the fine print. Some deals are good for full value longer than others. Some, like many of the Twongo and Living Social deals, are only valid for a few months. I'm sorry it wasn't clear to you when you bought it. You may not want to totally give up on them because there are some great deals.

I have not had to deal with Living Social customer service yet because I have not had any problems with their deals. I have had to contact Groupon before and their customer service was great.

NOT happy at all with Living Social now.....bought 2 Fansango tickets from them, unaware that after 60 days, it wold revert back to whatever I had paid for the deal ($9.00) instead of covering 2 Fandango tickets, which I puirchased. I called and Living Social told me that. Won't be buying from them again!
