where can i get the piggy bank?

  • littanybreigh Nov 26, 2011

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, it was the giftcard. We don't have an American Express, so no statement credit. We did the small business awesomeness today - delicious mexican food and then ice cream! I should've saved the gift card for today (we spent the money anyway), but it was burning a hole.

The CVS gift card offer has expired. But thanks so much for posting this Nancy! I was hoping they offered this every now and then and it sounds like they do. So here's to maybe next time! :-)

    Ms Baxter,

I believe the $25 Amex card littany used was an actual Amex card loaded with $25 that can be used anywhere. It was different than the promo you linked to. They posted the free cards through Facebook a few weeks ago in a different Small Business Saturday promo. I received the Amex card as well and plan to use it at a small business tomorrow.

At HT, I bought two packages of Mardi Gras 250 count napkins for pretty cheap...on sale for 1.99 (x2= 3.98)- two 55 q (x2= 2.20)= $1.78(plus I had a 1.00 OYNO Catalina that printed today when I bought 3 cans of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls at Krogers (on sale and used 3 qs that doubled)--which brought be down to 78 cents plus tax--97 cents!!

????? "The one-time $25 statement credit offer is no longer available. You can still do your part to support small business. Get involved, spread the word and come out on the big day to shop small and help your community."

terr19 - certain HT's will accept them. To be safe, before shopping ask at the Customer Service Desk if they accept them.

I have two HT's that accept all three rewards from the drug stores, +UP from Rite Aid, RR's from Walgreens and ECB's from CVS.

I AM SOOOOOOO exhausted! I told husband & the kids that mommy is on strike until Sunday ;) I was only home about 2 hours since 3 am and I am worn out. By the time they fixed my tire (2 hours!) I ran to the bike shop, ordered the last bike we need for Christmas, was called & told they drank all the milk up -- went to HT and got a load of groceries and I am now finishing dinner. Since hubby is out of town this week I figured I better go ahead and get groceries to last until next weekend.

Our new Christmas tree looks fabulous! Thanks to Home Depot for the great sale!

Does Harris Teeter accept Walgreen Register Rewards and Rite Aid + ups if the location has a pharmacy? I know I have used the CVS rewards.

I’m glad that you found a good sale! But, just as a FYI, the $25 American Express small business gift card promotion is only good on Saturday, November 26th.

Also, Staples is not participating in the promotion. If you go to AMEX’s Facebook page, there is a feature that allows you to search for participating businesses by zip code.

If anyone else has an American Express card, don’t forget to register for this great promotion. AMEX will give you a $25 credit when you spend $25 at participating small businesses on Saturday :-)
