Thanks, Nancy. I'll call her. It's the start of a holiday week, and I've only been getting the Sunday paper for about five weeks now. If I have a temporary delivery person, they might not realize that I now get the paper. I'm sure it was an honest mistake.

Had to call the N and O several times for not redelievering a paper.... Guess they got in touch because the lady stopped and gave us like 20 inserts LOL I guess that was to hush us up??? made my day lol

saro, no, you do not need to be home for re-delivery and if you called the 800 number, keep calling it. Or, if you're in Wake County, you can call Sherry Thomas (Home Del Mgr for Wake County) at 919-836-5954 and talk to her tomorrow.

Today was my first request for re-delivery. Do you need to be home when they come for re-delivery? I got up late this morning and didn't go out to get my paper until 9:45am, and it was no where to be found. I called for a re-delivery and had to leave before the person arrived. I just got home and still no paper. I'm going to call again tomorrow to get credit, but I'm just wondering, do I have to be home when they re-deliver? Thanks

paintbananas, I don't know about different editions, but it would seem to me that you should have gotten the insert :(

Do you normally get Smart Source inserts weekly when they come out in the Raleigh paper? If so, then obviously your paper was shorted by the carrier who stuffs the inserts into the papers.

Contact the N&O and tell them you need a re-delivery unless the carrier can just get you the SS insert it was supposed to have.

Does anybody know anything about different editions of the N&O and coupons? I live outside of Raleigh and we get the "State Edition" delivered. There was no SmartSource insert in my newspaper today. I'm wondering if that was a mistake or if it's always like that. Anyone know?

Faye - she has her phone already which has all the capability for travel (receiving email, sending, texting etc) the IPad would basically just be a bigger screen of the same services. And now that she finally has her 'home office' set up, she's able to send/receive faxes and all the rest.

She's finally going to be able to work from home more hours YEA! Things are humming along pretty well and she expects to have two days off a week now :)

She needs to talk to her boss about getting her an iPad to use for work, Nancy! Wouldn't that be a helpful tool for her to use while she is traveling for work?!

As we are all Moms it seems, it's something we do :) Never a night goes by without a prayer to keep them safe from harm, so naturally our thoughts are geared to making sure we do what we can to that endeavor.

She's a practical girl, appreciates things she needs more than things she 'wants'. So instead of getting her the IPad, we got her tires (of course much more expensive LOL) but we're buying peace of mind for her and for us - a wise investment :)

Since her work requires a lot of road time, all the more reason to put her back in her larger car (it was down with a flat tire and a decision had to be made ...) She had not been able to drive it for two weeks because she was too busy to research tires to replace. Ta-da, we did it for her LOL
