boxerlvr, a $1 coupon at Walmart takes $1 off your total, regardless of the price of the item, so you will get 2 cents credit towards whatever else you have. In the event that your coupons exceed the cost of your merchandise plus tax, they will give you cash back.

christie, you can use +UPs on *almost* anything in the store. The exclusions are prescriptions, lottery tickets, postage, alcohol, tobacco, I'm sure I'm missing something else, and the catch all "and anything prohibited by law" (I know in some states it is illegal to accept a coupon for milk, for example, but not in NC). +UPs can be used up to your pretax subtotal, but cannot be used to cover sales tax. +UPs expire 2 weeks from the last date you could have earned them, so all +UPs deals good this week only will expire 11/26, whether you got them on Monday, or today, or you wait til Saturday. Longer +UP promos follow that rule, 2 weeks from the last date you could earn it.

Did anyone else get the Smartsource coupons in today's paper or is it some weird fluke that they were in mine? I live in Kinston and they were in my local paper!

Steph, are you talking about the items that are shrink wrapped together like three tubes of toothpaste or two body washes? If so, I don't believe you can use a BOGO coupon on them or count them as separate items.

Now, if you are talking about a single item on clearance that happens to have a bonus (like 25% more free,$15 worth of coupons inside, or free trial product taped to it, ect), then I have used a $x/1 coupon at Target before with that type of item just fine.

QUESTION: For the BOGO coupons can you use them on clearance items that are bonus packs?? I was told at Target that you can't do that but there are a ton of posts on the KCL site where people did that. I wasn't in the mood to argue but am thinking I might. It does't say on the coupon that you can't and the price is less than the max. Wondering if anyone around here had done this?!

Walmart has the Idahoan potatoes for 0.98, so with my $1 off coupon I would be +0.02 right? Does that 0.02 come off of my remaining grocery bill? I know this sounds like a silly question, but I'm new at the coupon thing :)

HT ZVR's reloaded their kleenex cool touch coupon. If they are still on sale Q from this weekends paper. Not a bad deal for it if you need some.
