Food Lion deals 11/9

Posted November 9, 2011

Food Lion is offering good deals this week on carrots, apples, tangerines, tilapia and a couple turkey sales. They also have a number of Thanksgiving essentials on sale. On Friday, 11/11, members of the military get 10% off in honor of Veteran's Day!

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Military Discount: Members of the military get 10% off on Friday, November 11, 2011 when they show their personal military ID and MVP card. Offer does not apply to stamps, alcohol, tobacco, lottery and services.

Fyi I just checked with my local Food Lion which is on Creedmoor Rd and they said that you cannot double a manufacturer coupon with the coupons from the kiosk:( If anyone out there knows of a Food Lion that does please post. Please and Thank You.

Savvysaver - Thanks for the info. I work in Apex so I'll swing by & give it a try.

I noticed yesterday that FL's Fisher-Price diapers were on closeout, 6.99 for the jumbo pack and 16.99 for the day/night combo big box. There is a 5.00 off coupon on the jumbo packs good for the box, making the box 11.99 for (size 3) 96 diapers... a good deal from my perspective.

thrift - I have used 2 coupons (manufacture and kiosk) per item at the new FL off Holly Springs Road, in between Ten Ten and Kildaire Farm, it's in Apex. You may want to try the one off 55 in Holly Springs, they may be coupon friendly.

Faye or Nancy or others - Do you know of a specific FL in Wake County that allows you to combine a kiosk & manf coupon? I've tried a few in the Garner area with no luck. Thanks.

I am trying to register for the redplum for Foodlion, and it is not listed as a grocery store.
