Harris Teeter Saturday only e-Vic specials

Posted October 29, 2011

Harris Teeter is offering 3 Saturday only e-Vic specials good today only. They include the Frito-Lay variety pack, select Kellogg's cereals and White House apple cider. They posted the specials on their Facebook page and here are the details:

Frito Lay Variety Pack - $3.97 (limit 2)

Select Kellogg's Cereals - $1.97 (limit 2)  - the picture on the ad shows Raisin Bran, Frosted Mini Wheats and Frosted Flakes. There is a $1/3 coupon for Rice Krispies if they are included, from 10/16 RP but even with the coupon that's not a great deal.

1 Gallon White House Apple Cider - $3.97 (limit 2).

I don't know about you, but I miss the Saturday deals they did early on. Some of them were amazing!  I don't see any good e-Vic coupons or manufacturer coupons (other than the $1/3 Kellogg's) to use with this week's specials. Please post if you find any.

Very true, alston! I'm just thankful you read the deals. :-)

Faye, you know we count on you for the deals. There is never a off day when there is a sell going on....lol ;)

Alston - working on the HT SD list today - will be up sometime this afternoon/evening. Need to do Kroger list first. :-) Tell me again who said Sunday was a day of rest?! LOL :-)

Can't wait until the Harris Teeter SD's list post. Looking forward to seeing what deals there are.

The $1.97 was on the big box of Frosted Flakes...I didn't have a coupon, but not too bad. It was the same price as the HT brand. My daughter works there and said I had to get them.

HT did spend every week and earn a prize? I guess all grocery stores did at some point. This time of year there's usually some spend and earn a turkey somewhere, though I haven't noticed one.

I have never succeeded at spend and earn. My shopping is too sporadic and the minimum threshold is too high to cover remembering to grab pick up bread and milk at THIS store. Before I started couponing, I did one big shop once a month then popped in for bread and milk as needed. Doing smaller, more regular shopping is actually hard for me, but I press on because that's the best way to land the deals. What I really need is a good SD offering that includes paper products so I can fill a cart, save a ton of money and still get that full-to-the-brim cart feeling while only using 20 coupons.

I miss the "prizes" HT used to give when you spent a certain amount of money each week for a certain number of weeks. I am still using the aero bed I got from that campaign. I wish they would bring that back. I do agree with you; the Saturday only deals are getting less appealing.

Knowing SD's is coming and looking at these specials, I'm holding back too - nothing outstanding and not worth the special trip to the store.

Hopefully SD's will knock our socks off with great deals especially with the holidays coming up!

(then again, I really, really want to not be drawn to the store too much this week LOL)

"i'm not happy about the "deal price" applicable only when they are purchased in pairs...every evic now has this...what's up with that?"

If you're referring to the limit set on e-vic weekend specials or those assigned to your card, you don't have to buy both, just one and you'll get the sale price.

However, you only have one chance to buy the special, so if you eventually wanted to buy both, you must do it in the same transaction to get the special price.

    Hope that made sense? :)
