Void my comment about Cheez-its. I went to get it and in the store I realized the sale was on the tiny boxes (9 oz) and the coupon only works with the bigger box.

  • leeandkaren2 Oct 9, 2011

The Cheez-its are a great deal--if you eat them. You can get 4 for $5.00. If you still have two $1.00/2 q, then that brings it down to 4 for 3.00 and you get an ECB making it like 4 for $2.00!! 50cents a box....

Thanks Faye and Oxymoron02! It is a q for a $5 off 25. I am was just thinking about combining that with my ECB. I appreciate the tip about doing the 5 off 25 first--before other coupons!

  • Oxymoron02 Oct 7, 2011

    What Faye said. :D

To add to that though, if you have a $5 off $25 order coupon AND a $ off $$ coupon for *this specific bunch of stuff* (for me it's been $3 off $15 baby care), you can use both of those on the same transaction.

ECBs, you can use them regardless of other coupons so long as you aren't buying restricted product (lottery tickets, tobacco, etc) and so long as they don't bring your subtotal below zero.

As an unrelated aside, has anyone else had a GBT scan fail to credit when their subtotal was zero?

Is it an ECB for $5 off $25 also (or another total off your total order like $4 off $20)? If so, you are supposed to spend a total of $50 (if they are both $5 off $25 coupons) to get the $10 off, but some cashiers push it through. If it is an ECB for a dollar amount (like a $2 ECB) you can use that in addition to the $5 off $25. Make sure you give the $5 off $25 first before any other coupons are tendered so you know you have the $25 total and can use the coupon. Am I rambling? Told you I was tired!

Quick question about CVS...If I use the $5 off 25 q from them I received via email this week, can I use ECB with the same order or is that not allowed?

    Thanks in advance!
