Harris Teeter deals 10/5

Posted October 5, 2011

At Harris Teeter this week there are some great deals on P&G products with the coupons from the 10/2 inserts and the e-coupons from Harris Teeter! You'll also find good buys on Tide, milk, Smart Balance milk, and a number of Buy 2 Get 3 Free deals!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy has recently changed and now states that you can only use two coupons on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

E-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail.

Here are some of the better deals from this promo. Thanks to Nancy for typing these up and posting them on the blog! For those new to couponing, ZVR’s are the digital coupons that you can add to your Harris Teeter card and can stack with paper manufacturer’s coupons for great deals! If you sign up for the e-Vic deals at harristeeter.com, there will be a link for e-coupons on your e-mail that you get every Wednesday. You can click on that link to add the coupons to your HT card and start saving! Keep in mind that the ZVR’s only come off one per transaction. Sometimes you can go back to the ht website and they will be available to load again, but not always. And MQ = manufacturer’s coupon

There is some debate about the total that needs to be spent to do this deal. Many HT managers are saying it has to be $25 spent after coupons but maybe not. Here is what North Raleigh Dad posted on the blog today:

"I Called P & G and they said it is BEFORE COUPONS. The form is not needed to claim the cookware. Send the original receipt, name and address on a 3 x 5 card and a request for the cookware to: Cooking Up Early Detection PO Box 49309 Dept. C Strongsville OH, 44149-0309"

where did you see $4.77 for 50 oz. tide detergent? My HT has it regularly at $8.29, on sale for $6.99. I bought 2. With one $1 e-vic and 2 $0.50 coupons being doubled, it totaled to $5.49 per 50 oz. of tide detergent.

The Punisher, that's the same deal I got in my Evic midweek specials too. But I never saw it as single cans prior - how odd that is!

  • ThePunisher Oct 7, 5:45 p.m.

one of my eVic weekend specials changed from "15.2 oz cans Green Giant corn, green beans, and peas" for 47 cents a can limit 4, to a 4 pack of the same for $1.88, limit 3 4 packs

I printed out the email yesterday and it had the picture of 4 single cans, and they changed the picture that the email points to so that it points to 4 packs of veggies.

I'll be buying me some Green Giant tomorrow :-)

I would have LOVED to see you at the register msgooch LOL That would have tickled me, I would have probably joined you because it IS exciting to save so much AND then get free bakewear too! Totally awesome feeling...and everytime you use that bakewear in the future you'll smile remembering THAT deal :)

I couldn't resist, had to take advantage of their BOGO deal on the angus NY strip steaks (hubby loves steak) AND of course the wonderful LaBrea 3 Cheese Semolina, Italian and Sourdough breads which are also bogo. Of course the vacuum sealer will be working overtime today :)

... now I'm still waiting for frozen turkey breast to go on sale ... lol
