Faye, the HT in Crescent Commons will not double when it says DND. They did my two reluctantly last week. They made it a point to say you shop there frequently when I told them that it doubles when it scans!

Nancy, thanks so much for the chicken recipe! I will try it this weekend with the cooler weather we have forecasted.

I tried calling again today...after being on hold for 13:38, I decided to hang up and try again...this time they answered in 3:26. The customer service person was very nice and said he is signed up for evic, and didn't know why they weren't honored. We will try again maybe this weekend.

Ok, first of 4 chickens I bought yesterday is now in the crockpot LOL - chicken salad and soup will be gleaned from that 5.15 lb chicken at a cost of $3.02! LOVE that!

watchhillgirl, I know in the past people have had trouble getting into the system with HT as far as setting up getting the emails, digital coupons not being credited and a few other issues - they're growing and I'm sure stretched thin in the IT department too.

Hopefully you'll reach CS at the 800# today and they can get this resolved - but in the meantime, always have them scan his card at the CS counter when you go, so you have a printout of what is loaded to his card, that will prove he should get the deals if he should buy any of them.

I'm sure it's frustrating! Normally HT is very responsive, I hope they get back on their game soon!!!

Nancy, He got the email on Friday, and we went on Saturday. I double checked that his card number was correct also. It is very odd. I just wish I could hear something from Harris Teeter to try and figure out what the problem is. But they will not respond. I will try calling them again today to see if I can get a customer service rep. I really hate companies that don't have actual people to talk to....

Finesse, before this sale is over, I'll be going back to get a couple more of those chickens :) I'm putting one in the crockpot tonight to cook overnight - this one will end up being chicken salad and then scraps go into soup etc. YUM!

Hard to beat the price, shoot that was a great price on sale a few years ago LOL

The Southern Pines HT is a brand new store, just recently opened so I'm sure they have some unique specials to get customers into the store :)
