Thursday Thoughts: Harris Teeter e-VIC coupons

Do you use the Harris Teeter e-coupons available each week? If not, you are missing out on some wonderful savings! Read on for the details about stacking e-coupons and how they work.

Harris Teeter offers electronic coupons that can be added to your VIC rewards card. These coupons are loaded to your VIC card and you do not need a paper coupon to redeem them. When you buy the qualifying item and they swipe your VIC card, the discount comes off automatically at the register.

The BEST thing about these electronic coupons is that you can couple them with manufacturer's coupons! And, if your manufacturer's coupon is .99 or less, it will double and Harris teeter will also take off the e-coupon!

E-VIC coupons are run through a program called Zavers and are often referred to as ZVR coupons here on the blog.

Once you have signed up for an online Harris Teeter account, you will then be able to load e-VIC coupons to your card. You can load coupons to your card through your My Harris Teeter account on the Harris Teeter website or through the link provided in your Wednesday and Friday Harris teeter e-VIC e-mails.

Every Wednesday and Friday, you will receive an e-mail from Harris Teeter including information about the weekly e-VIC deals and specials. There will also be a link on the e-mail for E-VIC coupons. Click that link to go to the page on the Harris Teeter website where you can add coupons to your VIC card.

You can see the coupons you have saved to your account by clicking on My Saved Offers. I suggest printing out your offers so know what e-coupons you have available when you are shopping. It can take up to an hour for the e-coupons to be available to use at the store so give yourself some time before adding them to the card and heading into the store to shop.

You can save up to 99 different coupons to your account at any time.  After 99 have been saved, you can't save any more. You will have to remove some of the coupons before you can add any more.

The coupons do expire and you can see the expiration dates when you add them to your card.

You can use each coupon once per transaction. Sometimes they do become available to re-load to your card and use again in another transaction.

If a coupon does not come off the receipt as expected, head to customer service and they should look up your account to verify it should have been taken off. You should then receive a refund for the coupon amount. If customer service is unable to assist you, call the corporate customer service number at 1-800-432-6111.

Again, you can use a paper manufacturer's coupon with an e-VIC e-coupon on the same product! You can also use an e-VIC coupon with any sales.
