Coupon insert preview 9/18

Posted September 15, 2011

There should be 2 coupon inserts this Sunday. Look for 1 Smartsource & 1 Redplum including some good coupons for Barilla whole grain pasta, Old El Paso products & Planters Nutrition bars.

Click HERE for a preview of the specific coupons we will probably have in our inserts.  Although some of these coupons may be a little different than the ones we receive, most will be the same.

If you buy the paper at a store on Sunday (instead of getting a subscription), make sure you buy it INSIDE the store, not from the paper boxes. You want to make sure your paper has the coupons in it before you pay, which you can't do if you are buying from the paper box.

Happy shopping everyone!

Well, yesterday was a 'beneficial' day for next month's coupon swaps :) I was able to get 20 of the RP inserts from the mail kiosk trash receptacles at my daughters apartment complex - YAY!!

Now, all I have to do is continue that every week between now and October 11th and I'll have enough for everyone to get some LOL

But looking at RP's insert schedule, there will be a RP every week so I should be able to do that :)

    YeeeeHaaaaaa!

mytrish, in that article at the link you posted was this:

"The News & Observer in North Carolina reported last month that the newspaper was moving some sales inside stores, rather than relying on outside racks where people might be more likely to help themselves to a load of papers."

When I had to call about missing Sunday papers that were to be delivered, I talked to the Wake County Home Delivery manager and told her to PLEASE consider having papers only sold inside stores and even then, behind the counter because of papers I've seen in stores in odd places, stripped of the 'goods' :(

Glad to see they're at least using less newspaper boxes now.

Article on msnbc about coupon backlash from the mfr point of view. Also mentions rise of newspaper thefts.

But please when you check to see if the coupons are in the paper, please buy the paper, don't take the coupons and don't make such a mess!!! It gives the rest of us "good behaving" couponers a bad name..sorry..just my two cents worth this morning...
