Harris Teeter deals 9/14 with ad and triples deals!

Posted September 13, 2011
Updated September 17, 2011

The big news this week is that Harris Teeter is TRIPLING coupons! Here is the long triples list AND the deals from the ad starting 9/14! Have fun!

Coupon policy during Triple Coupons:

* HT begins tripling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale (September 14). 24 hour stores do not triple coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has worked in the past).
* HT will triple coupons worth up to .99 face value. A .75 coupon will triple to $2.25. A $1.00 coupon will not triple at all and will only be taken at face value ($1.00).
* HT will triple up to 20 coupons per day. Period. End of story. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. You can use more than 20 per day, but only 20 will triple. Coupons that are $1.00 or more at face value do not count towards the 20 coupon limit because they are not tripled.
* HT policy is to triple up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five .75 coupons for a product, the policy is to only triple the first three.
* BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. You can use two coupons on a BOGO deal if you buy 2 of the products (unless you have a coupon requiring the purchase of 2 items – then you can only use one of those coupons).

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail.

Here are the deals from the ad including any triple deals. Below are the additional triples deals not listed in the ad (these were posted on the blog earlier in the week but I have added a few more to the list ). My thanks to HotCouponWorld.com for the ad preview!

broby47..Thanks for sharing the info. on the new HT opening up. I too reside in Sanford, NC and this one will be a little closer than the one in Aberdeen, NC!!!

  • tigerfalls Sep 15, 2011

jabmeb23, I live about 15-20 miles from Sanford on 42. You could come ride with me and go together!

  • Kato Sep 14, 2011

Hey everyone. Watch the prices. My HT is charging $2.29 for a jar of Ragu not $1.99 and the 3 pack of Ivory Bars were $3.38. At those prices, even with Triple Coupons, it's not a great deal.

  • Oxymoron02 Sep 14, 2011

Oh, and you said "Snackwells bars if sale continues" and it did. I got 3 today. :D

  • Oxymoron02 Sep 14, 2011

Ben & Jerry's pints are 2/$6, and guess who found a tearpad a few weeks back for 55 cents off? ME! B&J pints for $1.35 each.

  • stephlw Sep 14, 2011

If you still have a Peter Pan Peanut Butter coupon -- if you use it at Lowe's food it is actually a much better deal even though they only double it. It ends up being $1 for the jar ;) The Ragu is also a better deal at Lowe's -- 2 large 48 oz containers & use the 75 cent coupons which double -- It is a better per ounce deal. We go through a lot of spaghetti sauce so I was looking at it per ounce.

  • stephlw Sep 14, 2011

I don't know if anyone saw this already -- but watch the video and get a free Welsch coupon! https://tastetheharvest.welchs.com/default.aspx

  • ncsualum09 Sep 14, 2011

Thanks for the raincheck tips! The only one I have so far is for the Domino sugar from last week! So that is even newer territory to me then coupons! haha.

  • marybethwright06 Sep 14, 2011

I never "wait" for to see if something comes in later in the week. Get a raincheck now and everytime you are there and it is out of stock. You may get a much better deal in the future!

  • canesgirl30 Sep 14, 2011

I found a coupon either from 9/11 or a previous week for .75 off 2 Whisker Lickin's cat treats (any size, any variety) the 3oz bags are 4 for $5 so I got 2 for $2.50, minus the .75 coupon tripled and it was .25 for 2! about .12 each. Gotta keep the cats happy :)
