Monday meal plan 9/12

Posted September 12, 2011

On the menu this week we have orange chicken, salmon burgers, creamy tomato soup and sandwiches, popcorn shrimp tacos and more! What's on your menu?

Beef stew in slow cooker (was on the menu for last week, but decided on something else so it is in the slow cooker as I type)

Egg noodles

Steamed carrots

Popcorn shrimp soft tacos

Orange Chicken

Stir fry veggies (yellow and red peppers are $1.29 at Trader Joe’s on Wake Forest Rd in Raleigh)

Long grain wild rice

Egg rolls

Salmon burgers

Pasta salad with veggies

Fruit (depends on what is on sale starting Wednesday)

Grilled cheese sandwiches (on whole wheat with Colby jack cheese, tomatoes, spinach and onions)

Organic Trader Joe’s Creamy Tomato soup

Saturday and Sunday

Out to dinner one night with a Groupon and maybe breakfast for dinner the other night (I am thinking bagels, eggs, veggie bacon and fruit salad...we'll see)

have to second what kma08 said about the mandarin chicken from Trader Joes...YUM!

I noticed that you posted about Trader Joe's organic tomato soup. Have you ever tried their mandarin orange chicken? It has just a hint of orange but is very similar to sesame chicken you would get out to eat. It is very yummy!
