I just started taking advantage of the RR and ECB. It's amazing how you can get a lot of stuff for nearly nothing. I used to shop at Sam's all the time thinking buying in bulk was saving me on diapers...sometimes I can get them almost free at CVS or Walgreens. You just have to really do your research.

Bklyn - on the front page of the Smart Shopper blog, there are a 5 boxes with info on different subjects. One of the boxes is :drug store reward policies with more info about the RR's and ECB's. Here is the direct link:

That should give you the info you need for all 3 reward programs at the drug stores. :-)

Hi Bklyn! RR and ECB's are just like a coupon, like you said, but basically they are used for you to use on a future Walgreens and CVS purchases. I know the Walgreens RR can be used at other stores, if you check beforehand. I went on vacation to FL and wanted to give my 40 RR to my grandma to help with her Publix grocery bill, just to forget them at home! I heard some Harris Teeters accept them as well, but I've never tried myself. Combined with coupons, the RR and ECBs will make your out of pocket total extremely low!

Faye...or anyone who knows- I appreciate all you ladies do to help newbies like me be successful at saving money. I am unclear on RR from Walgreens and ECB's from CVS. Is it a slip you get, sort of like a coupon? Can I use them at other stores?
    Thanks
